Had an amazing time here for Valentine's Day. My partner picked this place due to the rave reviews on here and I was not disappointed.

As soon as I mentioned celiac the server was on it, and every dish that came out ended with "gluten free" it was so comforting.

The tempura is amazing, just like the regular kind I still remember having. The sushi was a great value and super delicious. The service was 10/10 even on a very busy night.

My new go to date spot. We don't live close at all, but it is worth the drive and parking isn't too bad.

So many gf options! Lots of veggie options - the veg tempura and agedashi tofu aren't labeled vegan but they are without the sauce. Gf bento boxes are incredible value. Service lovely and super safe. And gluten free beer!!

Dedicated fryer for tempura! We’ve eaten here multiple times, and there has never been a problem with cross contamination. They are so careful and knowledgeable, and the menu is clearly marked with what is gluten free. The California rolls with real crab are safe for celiac. Also delicious sushi and other Japanese apps!

Very careful about gluten-free cross contamination and they even have gluten free Gyoza!! Lots of GF options they take celiac Disease very seriously it’s a must try for sushi.

Best sushi experience I’ve had since my celiac diagnosis. They have a dedicated fryer and there was nothing on the menu I would have wanted that I couldn’t order, including tempura. The menu is clearly marked with items as GF or AGF (available GF), and there is a full GF section on the menu. Also, our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and was very clear about telling the kitchen about the celiac.

I LOVE Globefish's deliciously creative and deluxe-sized rolls! Absolute flavour town. Menu is clearly marked with GF or available GF, and also mentions the dedicated GF fryer (try the tempura!!). GF soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger are all available - be sure to ask for these specifically. Staff were knowledgable and always reassured GF status when bringing out my dishes. I had minor cramps after the meal (probably IBS) but no gluten reaction. Woohoo!

I decided to try Globefish based on the very good reviews of Gluten Free. I don't care for fish, so just got a much of vegetables style rolls. Got excited and ordered way too much. Saved a bunch to the next day.

First night, no issues and my excitement doubled down. Second night, finished my food and definitely had gluten symptoms.

I can't seem to find where I vote for celiac friendly or not, but I would not consider this celiac friendly.

Can only assume that despite their separate cutting boards and fryer, something slipped through.

The most variety of gluten free sushi offerings (including tempuras) in Calgary. Their online menu is also very easy to use. The quality is hit and miss though. Sometimes the rolls have very little filling and thick amounts of rice. The tempuras are often greasy and get soggy very fast. Also on the most recent order they gave me regular soy sauce instead of gf soy sauce and I worry about their attention to detail.

Amazing food! They even have gluten free tempura and chicken karaage! Extremely knowledgeable staff, a dedicated fryer, and a thoroughly labeled menu. They provide gluten free soy sauce and were even able to make the sushi burrito gluten free!
