We were driving home from DC and was looking for a place to eat and found this place on find me gluten free. It is a small place with amazing food. Everything except the cake is gluten free. We also suffer from dairy allergies as well and when tlwe asked about dairy they said no problem. The food was amazing! We will be stopping by here again on our next trip to DC for sure.

We had a great meal! So many gf choices. Our waitress said the only thing not gf was the tree leche cake. We had Pupusas and they were amazing! Everyone in our group loved it. And our waitress was the best! We will go again when in the area.

The food is amazing! Plus a good chunk of the menu is gluten free without having to do any substitutions! Never have any issues. Definitely worth going!

What a cute find! As mentioned by others, the one dessert is the only item containing gluten and is made very carefully so as not to contaminate. I was able to have chips and guacamole, chicken pupusa, and a cheese pupusa! My gluten eating husband also had the pork pupusa. The pupusas were fantastic, but my favorite part was the horchata! It was like dessert in a glass.

Amazing spot! As of Dec 2023, everything on their menu is GF except for one of the desserts. So delicious and the most knowledgeable and kind staff!

Food is so delicious here. Have tried pupusas, enchiladas, pasteles, cabbage tossed salad, and fried plantains and all are amazing. Oh and the ensalada house drink is very light and fruity and delicious also. Owners are very friendly and everything except the one cake (made off site) is 100% gluten free. Great experience:)

Update 5/25/23: still amazing!!!

Update 8/13/22: stopped by their new space twice recently. It is very nice with indoor & outdoor seating. Delicious pupusas and more. They have gf fries too.

So happy to find this restaurant. Gluten free and very good! I also eat dairy free and they were very accommodating.

Everything except the tres leches cake is naturally gluten-free, and the cake is made in a separate area. I had pupusas and horchata, and they’re so good!

Excellent food. We ordered ahead via ChowNow and the restaurant put everything on plates with silverware so we could eat at a table. Everything is really good

I absolutely adore this place! The pupusas and yucca fries are amazing. I also like the pastilles which are like corn empanadas. Right now they are cooking in their food truck while they prepare their new indoor space. There is a great little outdoor patio for now. This place is full of soul and a celiac dream!

Gluten free facility. The food and service were exceptional.

Friendly staff, cute restaurant and delicious GF food. What's not to like? Four of us had chips, salsa, guacamole, tamales, and pupusas. We split the delightfully light flan four ways. Will return here the next time in Staunton.

Ate here after seeing reviews on the app. We had chips, salsa, guacamole,tamales, pupusa and fried plantains. Husband got flan for dessert and said it was very good. The only thing I didn’t care for was the ensalada drink. It was syrupy and too sweet for my taste. I’m very sensitive and felt safe eating here. No adverse reactions.

Delicious! Friendly owner & staff. All hand made & fresh. Not from frozen. Very cute decor inside with paintings from El Salvador! We will definitely come back! Currently only one thing not gluten-free: Tres Leche Cake. Owner is considering making one gluten-free.

The food was delicious, the staff was really friendly, and everything prepared on site is made from naturally gluten free ingredients. We enjoyed pupusas - mild & spicy, and the veggie was our favorite. The yuca, plantain and flan were also really tasty.

This is the best gf food I have ever had! Pupusas are like stuffed tortillas with a cabbage/vinegar slaw to die for and the chips and salsa are AMAZING!! If you are gf or not this is worth the drive! I always have a wonderful experience and NEVER get sick.

We were visiting James Madison U. and took a detour to this incredible gem of a restaurant. Unbelievable hand made food with interesting flavors. Loved everything we had and the chef/owners were so nice. Everything is made in house practically and is GF. Small place, but also quite busy. No doubt, if we are anywhere near here again, we will be back!

Oh my goodness, can't say enough about this place. The food is out of this world and the owners are super host.
