We had a great meal at Golden Hour, a very new trendy restaurant inside the Radical Hotel in the River Arts District. Loved the decor in the hotel and restaurant. They were knowledgeable about celiac and careful about allergies. They have 3 fryers in the back to accommodate to seafood allergies as well a celiac/wheat allergy. The food itself was amazing. I live in Asheville and it was some of the best food I’ve had here in awhile. Almost all the dishes besides the seafood beignets and hamburger could be made gluten free or are just naturally gluten free. They seemed to take a lot of care in developing creative menu items that aren’t gluten or bread focused. The corn pone was fantastic and was a table favorite. Oh and they have a pastry chef starting soon who will be able to offer gluten free bread options and desserts! Nothing bad to say really, service was also very warm, attentive, and helpful too.
