We tried this place on my birthday. The Hot & Sour Soup was delicious and my husband enjoyed his gluten-containing dumplings. Then we had Broccoli with Garlic Sauce (I'm used to this being in a brown sauce but it was not) and Chicken with Black Bean Sauce. Sadly both dishes were awful, both sauces were gelatinous and salty to the point of being inedible. We won't return unless it's for soup and dumpling only!

Great experience! I’m very surprised to find safe Chinese food. The food was delicious (and I’m from NY, so my standards for Chinese food are high), and I did not get sick. I wholeheartedly recommend. I only rate 5 for safety for dedicated GF kitchens, but I had no issues here.

🌾🚫 The items on the menu aren’t labeled, but a majority of the items on the menu can be made gluten free except for: Fried items (egg rolls, won tons, etc.), lo mein, all pork items and the fried rice.

Golden House is incredible not only with gluten free, but also with any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions!

I’ve never had any issues with cross contamination.

🍴This is not only some of the best gluten free food that I’ve ever had, but some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten! Nothing tastes gluten free at all! If you’re a Chinese food lover like me, this place is a dream!

AMAZING gluten free Chinese food! Wow. So much of the menu could be made gluten free and the food tasted so delicious! We had orange chicken and chicken low mein with rice noodles.

GH is a go to of my family's. We love the hot&sour soup, lemon chicken, general Tso chicken, rice noodle lo mein, etc. The only thing on their menu that's not gf is the lo mein noodles and any pork dish. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and I have never gotten sick.

This place was amazing! The food was delicious and staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about what was safe. Nearly everything on their menu can be made gluten free with the exception of the pork items. I had the General Tsos Chicken and my celiac daughter had the Orange Chicken. Highly recommend!

I had been here twice previously and did not get sick during the dinner hour but today I went for the lunch specials and omg I am dying I am on the verge of tears my stomach hurts so bad real bummer because reviews are so great and had a great experience in the past...I am not sure what to think but I had a terrible experience and certainly can’t go back this was also my first time eating for the day so there’s no chance it was something else... terrible pain could hardly even drive myself home!!

I've eaten at Golden House many times and feel very safe there. They will customize almost anything on the menu around your food restrictions. I have a number of allergens and celiac, they always get my order right. I can't praise them enough.

My sister and I are gluten free and we missed Chinese food so bad. Tried this place on recommendation from a celiac friend, and it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly and helpful. They will take the time to explain how they do things GF to make sure you are comfortable dining at their establishment. The best part...the non-GF family members eat the GF food with no concern!

I called and asked for gluten free options and they said they can make almost everything GF. They said we’d just have to sub some noodles. I felt really confident that they were serious about the GF part because I had to convince them to give me a boba tea (which wasn’t GF) by reassuring them several times that it wasn’t for me and was for my non-gf husband. Food was great and I didn’t get sick.

Very enjoyable Chinese restaurant. Staff was very aware of the gluten free requirements. Tasty food, especially the tofu curry. Overall, an enjoyable location to eat. Would recommend.

SO...MANY...OPTIONS!!! The food was fantastic and the staff here are great knowing all the options. General Tao's chicken sauce and breading was soooooo good. Best breaded gluten free chicken I've had. Highly recommend.

They offered to make any dish gluten free! I chose the terriyaki Chicken and it was amazing!

The Kung Pao chicken was fantastic. Very fresh vegetables. Just the right amount of heat (spiciness). Very good size portion. I would say underpriced for the amount of food and quality.

I love this place. Awesome flavor. Very careful about cross contamination, as the owner has a wheat allergy, she says. I didn't get sick, and the food was delicious. Will return for years to come. They can make nearly any dish on their menu GF, except anything fried.

We have eaten here many times. Extremely helpful, the owner always friendly and they have no problems with GF. My wife has severe celiac and has never gotten sick. They take all necessary actions to clean before they cook her meal and have gf soy sauce. Previous review from Shawna, not sure if this was a bad fluke she had there but we have been going for about three years now and not once had any issues with food or staff.

This place is not just my favorite Chinese place in Tucson, it’s my favorite place to eat period. All of the staff are knowledgeable about GF options. Nothing is every bland; it’s always delicious!

They will make any dish of your choice gluten free with a few obvious foods such as won tons. They can even modify breaded foods and make them without.

Love this place. First time I have had Chinese and it actually is gluten free & full of flavor!!The service was impeccable. Rebeca our server was attentive, polite, and anticipated all of our needs. I think I found my new favorite little hole in the wall!
