I happened across this cafe by chance while looking for a snack. They offer very limited indoor seating and outdoor seating, the former seeming to be the more popular of the options. Their menu offers various brunch items that both seem to look and taste delicious! While several items were listed as gf, the servers didn’t seem to know as much about celiac disease.
My friend had the picturesque breakfast sandwich and said it tasted as good as it looked. I played it safe with the one gf item: banana bread. The two slices were pretty large and would have been too salty on their own. Being paired with honey butter, however, brought out the flavor (I made an exception for dairy this time).
Seeing as I saw no symptoms afterward, I assume there was no or very minor cross contamination. It seems celiac safe but if you’re thinking about trying the banana bread then I would err on the side of caution and ask.

Very good food, ask them to toast the gluten free bread! They have GF symbols + can basically make everything gluten-free.

Wasn’t listed on the menu but this Lower East Side cafe has GF bread on offer. Was a nice breakfast.
