Gourmet Cafe has an extensive Gluten Free menu that provides actual gluten free options and not substitutions like wrapping a burger in lettuce. I ordered their "build your own pasta" with penne and it was absolutely delicious. Service was great! I am gluten intolerant so I did not go into asking their measures on cross contamination...but when I handed her my slip with what I wanted for my pasta bowl she wrote in large letters GLUTEN FREE! So it seemed like they took it seriously. They also have quite a few gluten free dessert options! I got the peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake and it was absolutely amazing 😍

Quite possibly the best gluten-free sandwich I've ever eaten. And I love the wide variety of GF cheesecakes! My family ate here multiple times on a trip to the area for a wedding. Fantastic GF menu, and, when you order takeout, they label the GF dishes as an extra layer of reassurance. Now I wish a place like this existed near me in NC.

Was traveling through NY and stumbled upon this spot. It’s unreal. I ended up adding an extra 45 min on my way home just to come back. They’re incredible about GF options and procedures. GF fryer for fried sides. I had the cranberry turkey sandwich. The GF bread is unreal, cooked in-house. They sell the rolls separately, I got 4. The cheesecakes are incredible. If you are close by and GF you NEED to come here. 10/10 on all.

This place is amazing. The gf menu is much larger than most places. The gf poutine was amazing, haven’t had that in years since it isn’t always gf. The horseradish roast beef panini was delicious. And let’s not forget dessert! Several gf options! We took the peanut butter cheesecake and vanilla cheesecake to go. So yummy. Would definitely recommend and we plan on stopping again while on our trip!

Large GF menu. The rosemary focaccia rolls and margarita pizza were great. (The carrot cake was so good I kept worrying it wasn’t GF.) Staff is very knowledgeable. Ciara was very friendly and did a great job explaining gluten free precautions and answering questions. The owner’s son explained how his father Francis put a lot of effort into making sure GF customers felt welcome and had options. Wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back.

(I waited until the day after to write this review, to make sure I didn’t get sick. Not a single symptom.)

FANTASTIC!! They were all so welcoming, have a large GF menu, and were very knowledgeable about celiac & cross contamination. My daughter is a very sensitive celiac, and she was so happy to have such a great experience- they are hard to come by eating out! So many delicious choices, we will definitely return. Definitely worth the drive from Lake George! (It's really not that far!) Thank you Gourmet Cafe!

This place is honestly a little slice of heaven. The food is incredible and there are SO many options. Even multiple desserts!!! They even have a build your own pasta dish in the evenings which can be done gluten free. The staff is so helpful and informed, our waitress even told us about more gluten free restaurants to go to! Husband and I split a chipotle chicken sandwich on their homemade focaccia panini bread... and I can honestly say it was the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. So much flavor and moist. We got a pizza to go and it looks delicious. And best of all the peanut butter cup cheesecake dessert! You can get these as a full pie to go if you want to (which was incredibly tempting). Do not sleep on this place, it’s amazing!

EXCELLENT! I had the best pizza, my mouth is still watering. I called ahead, spoke to someone who knew about cross contamination, told me about their precautions, and i felt very safe. They have a large gluten free menu. Even their regular pizzas are made with gf crust. They even had gf desserts. It was so so so so good. It will definitely be my go to place in Lake George/Glens Falls area.

This place is wonderful! It is a family owned restaurant that can cater to allergies. They are famous for their homemade GF rosemary rolls, which come toasted and are superb. They make their own GF pizza crust too. They have an extensive GF menu and also have GF graham cracker crumb cheesecake. Everything is prepared fresh and is homemade. I am looking forward to returning next time I am in town. If you have allergy concerns, the husband/chef can help you. Yum!
