I tried to get ice cream here on a Tuesday but didn’t feel safe ordering given the lack of knowledge of the staff. They had four flavors: two with cookies in them, M&M, and a fourth I’m forgetting. I asked about gluten and their allergen protocols. I was told the two non-cookie flavors were safe. When I asked whether they had an allergen tub, they told me they would use a fresh scoop but not a separate tub of ice cream. Because of contact between scoops and other patrons’ cones, I didn’t feel safe ordering.

My companion ordered the cookies and cream but threw it out shortly after leaving, saying it wasn’t very good.

I went yesterday to see if they had gf options, and there were a few ice cream flavors that were gf (definitely recommend the Almond Joy flavor!) The only problem was they don’t have indoor seating and you need to order at a window. (as of 2023). I wouldn’t usually mind, but it was cold outside the day I went. (Idk why I got ice cream when it was already cold lol) Overall, Gracie’s Ice Cream deserves five stars!

I went in today to find out how they handle allergens. They were very polite, used a clean scoop from a new tub of ice cream, and informed me which section would consistently have a fresh tub safe for allergies. For future reference, the four flavors on the right side of the freezer will have extras. They were very helpful and I appreciated the extra information!

I come here all the time and they’re great! Gluten free cones, they have clean allergy scoopers and will scoop from a fresh tub of ice cream. Sometimes a limited selection of gf flavors, but I usually stick to simple ones anyway.
