Disappointed. This location did not have the Gluten Free Flat Bread; waitress said it had been a couple months since they had it. I also have issues with vegetable washes and their salad greens are all prewashed, so that was out. Waitress was nice and helpful, but little to eat for me. Ended up with a Bison Burger, with cheese, skipped the GF Bun and toppings. If you want a burger, salad, or a lettuce wrapped sandwich, you will be ok. Sides are a challenge. Waitress was helpful in identifying what was safe to eat.

I had a sandwich with a gluten-free bun (it’s not in the menu but the waiter immediately knew that they have one) and a soup that had no gluten. The overall experience was really good and I had no problems afterward.

Definitely not celiac friendly.

Had the steak salad. Next day had stomach flu or food poisoning. Will avoid eating here again.

I have eaten here many times since and it has been very good.
Nope! “Gluten sensitive” only. NO dedicated fryer. Ordered two burgers on GF buns, one was served on a regular bun. Manager ARGUED with us that it was GF. Walked out.

The menu is only gluten sensitive not gluten free. When I told our waitress that I had celiac she said only the salads were truly safe. Not a good place for Celiacs.

One of my favorite places. They are very careful with my food allergies. Never once been sick after.
Was told GF but was sick afterwards

Big Gluten Free Menu. The waiter understood issues with gluten, the gluten free menu and how the food is prepared. The chef came to our table and explained how they take great care to prepare the gluten free food options. Dedicated areas for gluten free food preparation. The food was excellent! Highly recommended.
Updated - July 2016:
Unfortunately they've reduced the size of their gluten free options. The pulled pork used to be gluten free but now they are braising it with their beer which makes it full of gluten. The wait staff and cooks don't seem to understand the changes. To them it seems the same. I took a star away as a result and don't frequent the restaurant as much. Too bad.

couldn't find anything on the menu that was GF. the waiter told me an appetizer was GF, I ordered it, and immediately got sick. they offer no cider/GF beer options for celiac. they serve Omission but that is not celiac safe and makes me sick. totally disappointed and won't go back despite living very close.

Have gluten and soy allergies. Waiter and I had a hard time finding something I could eat safely. Not a single salad due to soy being in EVERY dressing, including their Olive oil (an olive/ soy blend). Settled on a burger without bun and a bottle of water. the burger was served with one shred of lettuce, a couple of tiny pieces of onion and a razor thin slice of tomato in the center of a big empty plate. Meat patty, water and tip=$20. Won't be back.

Delicious food and lots of GF options

They did not have a GF menu. They sometimes have gf options available ; buns and flatbread. But they were out of all of it when there. I was suppose to trust my teenage server what was gluten free or not. I’m not going back!!

Ate here last night and had no after effects. Server was very helpful. I had the Salmon and even though it is naturally gf she had it marked gf so they would know to clean the grill before making it for me. Rice pilaf and asparagus were my sides. No dedicated fryer but many other options can be made gf. They do have gf buns too. Did not flag as gf but it came out separately and the server said that it was the gf salmon before handing to me.

I ordered off the GF menu. I ordered the Bleu Peppercorn Burger, with a side of rice, and drank it down with a Flying Monkey. Then I got so sick I vomited it all up. Not sure what happened, but of course I’ll never eat here again.

Went for a work dinner where they were catering for 70 people. I wasn’t expecting to be able to eat anything. No gluten free menu but some items can be made GF like the burger had a gluten free bun. We didn’t have the usual menu just a set menu as we were a large group and GF was not marked on anything. I asked them for GF options. They asked if I was celiac or just sensitive which for me is usually a good indication they know what they are talking about. They were aware of cross contamination with fries being cooked in the same fryer as gluten containing items and informed me of the ingredients of the components of my meal to check it was ok with me too. The food tasted good!

I’ve been to other Granite City locations with no issue and lots of good customer service, unfortunately this location didn’t live up to those expectations. First time I ordered the waitress had no knowledge of gluten free. When asked if something contained gluten she said “I don’t know. Probably” and wouldn’t ask the kitchen or manager. The second time, the waitress said they had so much cross contamination and unclean services that she wouldn’t say anything is safe to eat if gluten free (at least she was somewhat knowledgeable). There are plenty of other places in Fargo, definitely skip this one.
