Stopped here while in town. Cute place. Our food was pretty good. I had a bowl and my husband had soup. I wish I had gotten what he had. Overall, it was a good place and I am always happy to get a safe place to eat. All gf!

I've eaten here several times and each time has been consistently delicious! Having Celiac Disease, I don't feel comfortable eating at many restaurants. This is one of the few places I feel completely confident eating. I've never felt sick or had any physical issues afterward. The food is absolutely TASTY!!! I love that most of it is fairly healthy/health conscious as I have friends and family who need to follow strict diets and this is one of a select few places that we can all eat. The baked goods are FABULOUS!!! I almost hate to say what I liked most, for fear that they'll run out. But, the brownies are ADDICTIVE (& I'm not usually a fan of brownies). The first time I ate here, I bought a sampling, like one of each of their baked goods & they definitely have some tasty treats. 😋 💕

The lemon blueberry muffins are to die for. Aside from that though, I wasn’t very impressed with the other flavors the few times I’ve visited (the crumble muffins tend to be too dry and sponge-like, the cranberry/orange lacked citrus and were also a bit dry) and the smoothies I’ve gotten when I’ve gone were very liquidy and lacked thickness and taste overall. The service has been decent and it’s nice to have a dedicated GF facility in the area, I just wish that they had a more expansive bakery selection to choose from on a regular basis and that the items they made were more moist/flavorful overall. But those lemon muffins man.. they’re pretty moist and delishhhh.

Couldn’t do any better on the GF meter. A plus for us is street seating as we were traveling through with our dog and we could bring her to an outdoor table.

Every Midwest town should have this restaurant! My husband & I both had the southwest bowl. Yum!

Friendly staff, super careful with my many sensitivities, and I believe the entire restaurant is gluten free. Extensive vegan selections including desserts.

So many options! And a little bakery area with all gf items! I tried the Thai peanut noodle bowl, and the citrus dressed Buddha bowl. Delicious!
Edit: About an hour after I wrote my review my Celiac son started feeling not so great. As the day progresses he felt worse, lethargic and an upset stomach. By night it was fairly clear he had been glutened, and the only place he ate was Outside the Box. (Even though we all ate the same thing no one else got sick, and it's been days so it wasn't a bug.) I don't understand how a 100% GF place could gluten someone, but they do say on the menu that they can't guarantee their suppliers are GF. I personally think that's lazy and horrible but obviously I should have heeded the warning. After 2 days my son is still struggling and I'm very disappointed. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant for those with Celiac.
This was delicious and all gluten free! Both my kids found something they enjoyed in a noodle bowl, including my Celiac son. My husband and I really loved our food too. I also liked that there are many health conscious options and everything is full of fresh veggies. My kids also split a delicious smoothie, and the GF chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I've ever had. Overall we were so thrilled to discover this gem on our travels from Chicago to Detroit.

This is a wonderful place for healthy food. Their paleo apple cinnamon muffin was moist, light and not too sweet!
This is a wonderful place! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding GF and Celiac. My wife and I are from out of town and need to stay GF. It is hard while on vacation. This place is like a small piece of heaven because the GF options. We feel very safe to eat here and have done so 4 or 5 times. The food is wonderful! We will be back!
