Sandwich had good flavor but the bread was just shy of frozen and crumbly. Perhaps if I would have asked for a hot sandwich it would have been better. I was hesitant as I don't know how they hear the sandwich. The biggest turnoff for me was the woman who waited on me. When I looking over the menu, I asked if all of the meats were gluten free. She commented that she would guess so and went on to say she doesn't think that there would be wheat filler in meat. I explained that not all meats are gf and she said "where did you hear that?" That's when I should have left. She went on to ask if I meant maltoxdextin and I said no, that's not what I referring to. And explained that some sauces and preservatives may contain gluten. She eventually asked someone else and then went to check the label. The answer "I think so" or "it should be", is always a red flag.

You can order any sandwich on their gluten free bread. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was the best gluten free sandwich I've had in Madison. They also sell the bread by the loaf. I will definitely be back.
