Review of Great Maple

Great food — good salads and burgers especially. They are newish and slammed like a typical Disneyland resort restaurant and not run by Disneyland dining, so they have some kinks to work out around allergies and gluten free.

The order took 10 minutes or more because the server wasn’t super knowledgeable and needed to enter everything into a very cumbersome system. Some other servers we ordered from another time were knowledgeable. Chalk it up to newer? And their ordering devices are terrible.

My kids burger came with a spot of cheese on it, though we said no cheese. I understand cross contamination and they were gracious/ offered to remake. But it’s not the safety I feel dining at a Disney resort yet. I recommend emailing special diets at Disney ahead of time— I forgot.

Drinks were excellent, food was excellent— San Diego location has easier time with allergies. Just some kinks to work out here.
