Review of Great Pizza Co.

The staff was friendly when we entered. We were told to sit where we wanted; Stacey brought us menus and took our drink orders. Under the pasta section there was a big banner that said to ask about our gluten free options. The same banner was under the Pizza section. I asked about the pasta and was told they didn’t have any GF pasta. Stacey asked the cook who said he didn’t know of any. So, I opted for pizza. I was expecting a great pizza based on the reviews, but it was mediocre at best. It was prepared in a pan that was put in the regular oven. The center bottom the crust was chewy. The taste was pretty bland. My husband opted for lasagna. We heard the cook tell Stacey to put in in the microwave for 4 minutes. It was delivered smoking and the plate was hot, however the center of the lasagna was cold.

When we got the bill, the top of the printout said “Sal’s Pizza.” I don’t know if this restaurant was a disguised Sal’s or if Sal’s owned this one in addition to the Sal’s restaurants.

Nearly 12 hours later and I’m ok, so I guess some precautions were taken but I couldn’t say for certain they were.
