Ate at the Lodge and GF is labeled right on the menu. Had a burger with fries and Brussels sprouts. They also have risotto, fish, steak, salads, etc. Lots of options!

I was told on the phone I would have options and excited when I got here to see options on a couple menu. The staff seemed knowledgeable and a “chef” even came out to talk to me. I felt confident when I dug into my meal but then miss most of the rest of vacation with my family because I was straight up glutened. I was trying to be so careful. I’m heartbroken that after spending so much time and money putting this special family time together, I missed most of it. If I come back I will bring my own food.

Nothing is celiac safe. Website states separate fryers but waitstaff and chef say everything is fried together and is not safe. Nothing on the menu I'd trust

Nothing gluten free here. Bring your own food to be safe.

If you are celiac plan on ordering takeout off-site as there are no truly safe option within the hotel. The other reviewers mentioned a Lodge Grill but it must be closed because it's not on any of their maps or in the available restaurants in their app. I'm super bummed. I thought we'd be able to stay on property and have a more convenient stay but we had to pick up snacks and every meal except one so far. Also if you are worried about covid19, this is not the place to visit. Hardly any other hotel guests wear masks (zero usage in the waterpark), no social distancing and no one touches the sanitizer offered.

They advertise being completely allergy friendly which an absolute joke. The staff has no idea what a food allergy is or how to handle it. The “chef” was also a joke. He said he didn’t know if potatoes had gluten....I starved the entire time I was here. This place sucks.

Lodge Wood Fired Grill has so many gluten free options! Everything fried is safe! Even the calamari! They use gf buns from Local Oven. The manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. No issues at all!
Yes
Don't trust hotels. There's NO WAY this place is truly gluten free.
No
Wood Fire Grill is so accommodating for food allergies. I have both celiac and dairy allergies. Ate here twice. First meal chef prepped a burger and fries. Had to specially heat oil in pan to cook fries to prevent dairy cross contamination in fryer. Second meal had strip steak and baked potato. Again cooked steak in pan because they typically butter coat steak and cook on grill. Tasted great and didn't get sick.

The wood fired grill (only sit down menu restaurant in the hotel) has great celiac friendly options!!! I used to work there and I ate the fried calamari so often. They have good burgers, and I can’t remember if the fries are also gluten free but I’m pretty sure they are. The breakfast buffet has decent gluten free options in the breakfast taco section, but I think cross contamination is more likely at the dinner buffet. I wouldn’t recommend other outlets. I heard that pizza shop added a gluten free personal crust but I do not know if they take correct measures for cross contamination. TLDR: wood fired grill is GREAT and will work with any dietary restrictions, buffet at your own risk, I don’t recommend other outlets!!
Yes

I couldn’t be happier with our stay. Myself and my 8 year old are celiac. We had supper at the buffet last night and I was both hopeful because of the reviews I’d seen but also skeptical because it’s a buffet. At the front when you are greeted they ask how many in your party and any allergies. I told them we were celiac. She wrote it down and seated us. Minutes later the sous chef came out and took us on a tour of the buffet and showed us what we could eat. And anything we couldn’t he described how he could make it safely out back and bring to our table as a ready to order meal. I almost cried. We were in our glee. Between the two of us we had ribs, chicken, steak and gravy, fries and gravy, pepperoni pizza, veggies, creme brulee, cupcakes, ice cream. There were seafood dishes, chilli, custard, jello and other stuff there we could have but we couldn’t manage to try everything. We tried. đ Breakfast didn’t have quite as many options but it had lots. Yogurt, fruit, beans, gluten free bread, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, omelettes, he made us safe pancakes in the back and brought it to the table. The only issue I had was he told us the Lucky Charms were gluten free. I explained why they still weren’t safe for us and I don’t think he agreed. But neither of us wanted cereal anyway lol My daughter kept telling me ‘you have to tell everyone about this place! There was so much! Usually we can only pick one or two things! But here I can have anything! Can we move here?’

Chef came out to talk to us before breakfast and dinner at the buffet. Offered to cook gluten free meals in the back if there wasn’t enough at the buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff, and the food was delicious. Baked gluten free pizza for us for lunch. The only drawback was that there was no dedicated fryer. A wonderful holiday and great eating experience!

I was very specific with our waitress about my celiac diagnosis. The chef came to the table and personally guaranteed a gluten free meal. He took extra precautions and discussed them with me when he delivered the meal also. I had the chili lime chicken bowl and it was filling along with delicious!

They were great with our 7yo celiac. Pizza, fries (separate fryer), buns, pancakes, and more! The sit down restaurants send the chef out to the table and talk about the gf food.

Based on other reviews, I asked the staff if I could bring my own food in so I could eat with my family because they wanted to eat at the hotel. They got the manager, and she told me they take allergies very seriously and have a seperate kitchen. I told her about the bad reviews I saw on this site and she said to always ask for and order with a manager. I ate both dinner and breakfast (they will make you seperate food if you ask. I wouldn't trust the buffet) here and didn't get sick.
That being said, I had ordered a roasted chicken breast with au jus, with mashed potatoes, and a vegtable (what was listed GF on the menu) and instead got a deep friend chicken breast/thigh chunk and French fries. The manager was so nice and said she was watching them make it so I didn't get sick, and that they fried the chicken and fries in a seperate pot of oil to be safe. But, also I didn't order fried chicken and fries and wish I would have known about the substitutiins ahead of time.
