Ate at Campfire Kitchen for breakfast with celiac son and self. Spoke to chef who made up separate plates from the back with all gluten free items. He actually hand delivered the plates also. Tested negative for gluten with Nima sensor. Given the same experience, we would trust not to Nima sensor again and would feel confident being able to eat.

This was a terrible experience. The pizza crust was not cooked fully. The fries were "baked" but not fully. You do get a chef when you tell them gluten allergy but the options and food fall short. This is nothing I want to experience again.

I emailed before my stay and they guided me on what to do. Every place we are the chef came out and spoke to me directly about what they could do for me and my concerns about cross contamination. I was very pleased with my experience!

The servers/cashier always call the chef who comes and gives you the many options and then they personally prepare the meal safely. I know there is a separate gluten free fryer. And I'm pretty sure there is a separate preparation area. At Ben and Jerry's, they go to the back and get ice cream out of a fresh container. Highly recommend this resort for anyone with celiac. My child didn't feel left out at all. The hamburger bun was dry dry crumbly, I will say. Also, bring your own gluten free donuts if you think your kid will want one. Others in our group had dunkin and I should have brought my daughter's gf donuts.

I’m at Great Wolf Lodge in Georgia and they have been amazing! If you say food allergy they immediately call a head chef who takes over and preps your food. Even when I ordered a coffee and said please be careful with CC they called someone to verify all was safe. Amazing experience and David who is a head chef was above and beyond.

The chef comes out to speak to you about the allergies and how they can accommodate. Great place!

The chef will make sure your order is safe at all of the onsite food options. I enjoyed the BBQ nachos. They also offer gluten-free buns and the french fries are fried separately. If you are celiac, the ice cream shop will prepare your order from fresh ice cream that has not been cross-contaminated.

Best service I’ve ever had with Celiac! At each of the restaurants the server asks if there are any allergies in your party then sends the chef to speak with you personally. Everyone I spoke with was well informed about CD and the danger of cross contamination. There was a great variety of GF options already on the menu and they were able to make several other dishes GF on request. My daughter even enjoyed fried chicken fingers for the first time since her diagnosis. I felt completely at ease. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with our stay. Myself and my 8 year old are celiac. We had supper at the buffet last night and I was both hopeful because of the reviews I’d seen but also skeptical because it’s a buffet. At the front when you are greeted they ask how many in your party and any allergies. I told them we were celiac. She wrote it down and seated us. Minutes later the sous chef came out and took us on a tour of the buffet and showed us what we could eat. And anything we couldn’t he described how he could make it safely out back and bring to our table as a ready to order meal. I almost cried. We were in our glee. Between the two of us we had ribs, chicken, steak and gravy, fries and gravy, pepperoni pizza, veggies, creme brulee, cupcakes, ice cream. There were seafood dishes, chilli, custard, jello and other stuff there we could have but we couldn’t manage to try everything. We tried. 😆 Breakfast didn’t have quite as many options but it had lots. Yogurt, fruit, beans, gluten free bread, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, omelettes, he made us safe pancakes in the back and brought it to the table. The only issue I had was he told us the Lucky Charms were gluten free. I explained why they still weren’t safe for us and I don’t think he agreed. But neither of us wanted cereal anyway lol My daughter kept telling me ‘you have to tell everyone about this place! There was so much! Usually we can only pick one or two things! But here I can have anything! Can we move here?’

Chef came out to talk to us before breakfast and dinner at the buffet. Offered to cook gluten free meals in the back if there wasn’t enough at the buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff, and the food was delicious. Baked gluten free pizza for us for lunch. The only drawback was that there was no dedicated fryer. A wonderful holiday and great eating experience!

I was very specific with our waitress about my celiac diagnosis. The chef came to the table and personally guaranteed a gluten free meal. He took extra precautions and discussed them with me when he delivered the meal also. I had the chili lime chicken bowl and it was filling along with delicious!

They were great with our 7yo celiac. Pizza, fries (separate fryer), buns, pancakes, and more! The sit down restaurants send the chef out to the table and talk about the gf food.

Based on other reviews, I asked the staff if I could bring my own food in so I could eat with my family because they wanted to eat at the hotel. They got the manager, and she told me they take allergies very seriously and have a seperate kitchen. I told her about the bad reviews I saw on this site and she said to always ask for and order with a manager. I ate both dinner and breakfast (they will make you seperate food if you ask. I wouldn't trust the buffet) here and didn't get sick.
That being said, I had ordered a roasted chicken breast with au jus, with mashed potatoes, and a vegtable (what was listed GF on the menu) and instead got a deep friend chicken breast/thigh chunk and French fries. The manager was so nice and said she was watching them make it so I didn't get sick, and that they fried the chicken and fries in a seperate pot of oil to be safe. But, also I didn't order fried chicken and fries and wish I would have known about the substitutiins ahead of time.
