Green Papaya

My favorite! Ate here frequently when I worked in Waltham and still try to make it over when I can! Sadly nothing is marked but the staff know exactly what is safe. My go-tos are the Pad Thai and the Mango Curry. So so good and never once been sick!

They do not have a gluten free menu nor are the dishes marked gluten free on the regular menu. The waiter stated with strong assurance that the satay was gluten free, even the peanut sauce. My celiac husband had the satay, both beef and chicken but choose to stick with Sriracha sauce. He was told the curries, pad Thai and some dishes could be made gluten free. The first 4 or so that he asked about were not ok, including beef macadamia, and a duck dish. The waiter went back and forth to the kitchen several times and he was friendly about it, but it felt very limited in what was available gluten free, given that this is a Thai restaurant.

The dishes we had were tasty, but not spectacular.

Excellent basil chicken. Menu isn't marked but the wait staff knew what could be made gluten free. I'll be back!

Delicious Thai food! They don't have a gluten free menu, but they are very knowledgeable and can adjust a lot of their menu items to be gluten free. Last time I went there I ordered a rice noodle dish and the waiter already knew to take the soy sauce out. On top of that, he brought me extra gluten free sauces on the side for me to try with the dish. Even though it was great by itself, the extra sauces were so thoughtful! Highly recommended :)
