I should have heeded the other reviews but I was so hungry and the place I wanted to go was closed. Half the items on the gluten free menu werent actually according to my waitress. Two items didn't even exist. I settled on the roasted turkey. the waitress gave me grief also telling me it was only available at the restaurant across the street and then she said she guessed she can go it because it's across the street. it came out chilled as though it has been in the refrigerator. my sides were swimming in so much butter it would have appalled Paula Dean. The price on the menu was also wrong and the bill came to $21. I have only twice in my life tipped under 30%, being usually an extremely generous person.
and then 15 minutes after getting home my stomach was killing me. I am gluten free because it helps an auto immune disorder, I am not even celiac.
disgusting food that made me sick. that's a no.
They had a gf menu with a lot of options but the waitress wasn't knowledgeable how they cooked the food. She also was rude and wouldn't take the time to ask for me. I ate there anyway and in turn, got sick. If you have celiac or a severe sensitivity I would not eat here.
No
Greenwood's is a classic Southern restaurant, so I figured that finding GF options there would be tough. In fact, they have a nice GF menu with plenty of choices. Probably would be good for anyone with celiac to check with chefs to make sure the restaurant truly is celiac-friendly.
