We stopped here during a roadtrip on a Wednesday evening, there was plenty of availability despite a steady flow of customers.

The menu is extensive and has several allergens/dietary preferences marked clearly on the menu. They have many dishes that can be made gluten free including GF buns.

The server we had, Paige, was extremely friendly and observant as well as funny and very attentive.

The food came out quickly and was well done and tasty. They offer beer samples and have wine, ciders and other options, they have something for everyone.

The atmosphere was fun and comfortable with plenty of natural light.

We had a party of 10 recently and three of us have Celiac. The server was extremely knowledgeable and the GF items on the menu were well marked. The food was delicious and the three of us felt great after. I would highly recommend this location for a safe GF meal in East Aurora.

So delicious! I had the chicken caprese over the smoked Gouda GF Mac and cheese and it was fabulous.

Griffon,any of their locations, is one of our favorite "go-to" places for date night. As a person with Celiac,you're always taking a chance eating out,unless the place is 100%gluten free. That being said,Griffon gastro pub has been pretty safe for me. I always double check when they bring the food out if its the gluten free bun or the glorious gf mac and cheese and only once in 6 years did the bartender respond " wait,no that is not" and corrected it. I've always been fine the next day and that's why I recommend this place to there. Great food and great service!! The only thing missing is a dedicated fryer. Hint hints gastro pub ;)

Ended up glutened. Maybe they gave me the wrong roll? Sick for a week, won't go back.

Everything here is so good! The menu is clear and easy to decipher what is safe and what’s not. I have multiple allergies and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. I’m so happy I found this gastro pub because I will be returning!

Wow what a delicious meal! So happy to find this place. Lots of GF foods on the menu. The bun tasted like a normal bun. The french fries (cooked in a dedicated fryer) were perfectly crispy. The smoked Gouda mac and cheese was amazing too. The waiter was so knowledgeable and careful. I wish I had a reason to come back to East Aurora so I could eat here again.

Great meal! Incredibly attentive and educated waiter. Many options on the menu, 4 ciders and 2 GF beers along with the normal wine and mixed drinks. I got an amazing burger that was so delicious I forgot the bun was GF, and a gluten free Mac-n-cheese that was decadent. Only lacked a gf dessert, but he said they do different desserts every 2 days so maybe you will have better luck. Amazing meal and nobody got cross contamination...Fantastic!

They don't have a gf dedicated fryer. So cc happens. But they are very good about checking about ingredients. They do not mark anything that has touched the fryer gf.

Someone just recently posted that this restaurant is safe when it is not. The restaurant states on its website that meals are not guaranteed GF and they do not have a dedicated prep area. I phoned them as well and was given the same honest response. So please do not take a chance.

Lovely place. Lots of gluten-free options! I love the macaroni and cheese. Probably the best restaurant Mac I've had! Bonus it's gluten-free so I can eat it! they're street corn dip is amazing. They have gluten free buns and I think one time I got a beef on weck . We've been there a couple times. They have great mashed potatoes and they do have a gluten-free gravy. But I didn't care for the gravy but the mashed potatoes were really good! Do you care for the wings thatmt not bad they're just not my favorite. Those and the gravy are the only thing I didn't really care for. My partner doesn't eat gluten-free and really loves the food here too. He also thought their beer was great. Definitely a place will be returning to. Actually we already have both here and Lewiston.

Excellent food! Server very knowledgeable. Gluten free buns & mac n cheese. No fries due to non dedicated fryer. Caprese turkey burger was awesome. I opted for no bun as I don't like gf buns. Hubby is not GF and said his burger was one of the best he has ever had. Went back Friday night to try the fish as they only have it on Friday. Broiled haddock was absolutely delicious. Ate here 2 days in a row as the food was so delicious and gf safe 😋.
