Griff's BBQ & Grill

They took almost all salads off their menu since Covid-19. I have Celiac and used to order their shrimp avocado salad which is no more. I don't know if they have a dedicated prep area or even know how to prepare a gluten free meal. We don't eat at Griff's anymore. Too bad because we used to love it.

I tried the chicken wings and got glutened. Also their prices have gone up a lot. Wait staff seem clueless about gluten.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

They do have GF options in their menu however when asked about it they said that it's made with the LEAST amount of wheat possible. That made me scared. Lol. However my husband and I were far from home and I was hungry so had the chicken salad with this strawberry vinaigrette and it was really good except I didn't know I didn't like blue cheese crumble lol. No side effects.

Food was delicious.. But I only got halfway through my meal before I had to run to the bathroom. Still not sure what it was, the waitress said they were very careful so she didn't know what it could have been. Shame, brisket was one of the best I've ever had.

Clearly marked gluten free items on the menu. My gluten free kids had the ribs with a side of avocado and I had a BBQ pork salad with candied walnuts. Fast service and friendly servers.
