Staying at the hotel overnight for another flight. Thankfully they have gluten free foods listed on the menu for lunch. I had the lobster tacos and they tasted amazing. Then the chocolate torte. They were out of the raspberry sorbet, but they still presented a delicious dessert, though I think the raspberry would put it right over the top. Next time for sure.

The staff at the hotel just raved about how great their restaurant was. But when I tried to order GF food for my child, they stumbled quite a bit. Nothing on the kids menu. I ordered the steak frites for my daughter and husband to share. There's no GF fryer, so they had to oven bake the fries. They had rice listed as a side, but they said it's not GF. I asked how rice is not GF, like what do they put in it, and they tried to school me on how rice has gluten. I told them that celiacs can eat rice, just not wheat, barley or rye. They just didn't seem to know the ins and out of gluten intolerance or celiac disease. The food tasted fine, except the menu said it was a flatiron steak, but it was actually a skirt steak (for $30). Two stars for not glutening my kid.
