I stayed at the Weston Resort & Spa. Hale is located in the Westin.
Prior to checking in I was told that I would be given a gluten allergy/celiac card that I would give to my server and that would be given to the kitchen to ensure safe preparation. No server at the hotel had ever seen an allergy card before and did not know what to do with it. Servers had little to no knowledge about food prep for celiacs. Nor did the food/beverage manager. We ate mostly off-site.
I did have the quinoa salad poolside. It’s marked GF on the menu. It was mediocre.

Delicious food. No GF menu but very accommodating with substitutions like corn tortillas and potato chips instead of tortilla chips (cross-contaminated in fryer). They also have other options like açaí bowl and quinoa bowl. They also use an allergy toothpick marker to confirm how it was made.

I asked if they had a gluten free menu. I was shown what I could have and they recommended fish tacos. My Nima test showed safe on all of my food. I also got their açaí bowl without granola.
