I called ahead to find out which meals were safe to eat (loco moco and mahi mahi) and upon arrival found out that those weren’t completely safe. They have a list of gluten free options that was given to me but you still have to go back to the menu to figure out what you can actually eat. It was very frustrating, especially because the loco moco that was listed was not gluten free that day. Apparently it depends on which chef is cooking. As the fries aren’t safe, I asked what the substitutions were, only fresh fruit or a salad and not any of their listed sides. I did end up having very tasty food and didn’t get sick but it was really not worth all the hassle.

Symptomatic Celiac

Called ahead of time to verify they could accommodate, the employee I spoke with overall seemed to know what she was talking about. Our server was very kind and accommodating as well. She provided a separate menu of GF options. They’ve reduced their lunch menu to about 1/3 of what is pictured here. I had the Mahi Mahi and loved it. The server that delivered the food clarified it was all GF. I had zero symptoms after eating the food too. I’m fairly sensitive to cross-contamination and was very happy to not be sick in any way. Definitely recommend for celiac even though the menu is pretty limited. *also… you’re eating in Hawaii, prices are just more expensive. My review has nothing to do with pricing*

No dedicated fryer and the fries look so amazing!!!! No gluten free buns, but the burger was ok. I wish they had more options for the GF family. A pretty limited menu especially if you don't eat fish.

Beautiful location and tasty food. We got in late and just had the blackened ahi and some salads. They have a small GF menu but I am also dairy free and they were able to make modifications. Our server was very friendly and asked with the chef if she wasn’t sure. I appreciated when the runner brought the food to the table, he said GF blackened ahi and salad with no cheese. Definitely planning to return, they have lots of good looking steaks and fish on the menu.

Staff very helpful. They have a limited GF menu that was nice. I had the blackened ahi on top of shredded cabbage, as well as the spicy edamame. Very tasty even though they do not have GF soy sauce. I would eat here again if I visit Hawaii again.
