Went to Hammerdown and requested gluten free however my friend was very distracting to the cashier. Apparently they missed the gluten free and I had a bad reaction. The cashier wanted to ask the owner but he was busy socializing. I didn’t see them talk to the owner to confirm. So make sure you stress gluten free a few times to ensure they are on it. I will not be eating there again since they let my order fall thru the cracks. The chicken was very dry. My friend said the ribs were dry too. Baked beans and mash potatoes were just good.

Knowledgeable staff about celiac disease, offered to change gloves and cutting board/knife, and advised on menu items. Great BBQ, and the green beans were especially tasty - will definitely come here again!

Delicious bbq - possibly the best I’ve ever had and I travel a lot. Everything is gf except the mac and cheese and corn bread. Staff happily changed gloves and used a new cutting board. Highly recommend.

Excellent BBQ and a very good selection of GF items. The place is always busy and parking can be a pain but its worth the hassle. This is my favorite place for BBQ, hands down!

Allergies sign right under chalkboard menu. Staff is well educated-asked if it was Celiac-changed gloves & prepared meal in separate cutting board. 15yo son & I shared the bbq platter w/ pulled pork, brisket, baked beans & potato salad & we brought some home! SO good! Celiacs & gluten-eaters alike thought it was the best bbq!! Yum!
