Stopped before driving the road to Hana. Grabbed GF bagel sandwiches - delicious!

These guys make you a to go sack lunch you can take with you on the Road to Hana. They were recommended by the tour guide app we used called Shaka tours. They do lettuce wrapped or GF bagel sandwiches. They also answer any questions you have about the journey on the Road to Hana and give their suggestions on how to best do it. Great sandwich and a lot of sandwich options. I have a gluten allergy and didn’t get sick but I am not celiac so don’t feel comfortable commenting on celiac friendliness.

They don't have gf bread but they have bagels that they put sandwiches on. They also do lettuce wraps. I got the shaka sandwich on the bagel and a bag of lays chips. This is your only options to get food before you start the road to Hana once you get to Paia. It was $10 a sandwich, with no gf charge. The sandwich is good. I would recommend buying drinks here if you are going on the road to hand, because food and drinks are incredibly limited on the journey. They asked if I had an allergy to gluten, and did a glove change. Cross contamination is probably relatively unlikely since they are cold sandwiches prepared on plastic wrap.
