Gluten reaction alert. Typical Japanese sushi restaurant selections with a GF menu available. I ordered the edamame which was listed as GF (there’s also spicy garlic edamame which is not gf and was ordered by others in my group). I felt sick (gluten reaction) after eating the plain edamame while waiting for the sushi and would later have a full gluten illness once back at the hotel. I also had the AAC and California rolls (crab is gf) and they were very bland (couldn’t taste the vinegar in the sushi rice). The rest of the group (non-GF peeps) enjoyed their dinners.
