Went today & when I inquired about gf items they said they “stopped doing gluten free”. When I told them they haven’t updated that info on Google/internet her reply was “yeah we have to update a lot of stuff.”
The cafe itself was cute and a cool idea, but when looking at their lunch specials (poblano soup & black bean burger), these both could *easily* be made with a gluten free option. I just got the feeling they don’t care & can’t be bothered and I don’t want to support their business, especially when they clearly used to do it well.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They say they have gluten free things on the menu but when asked the waiter has no knowledge of what’s gluten free. She went to ask the chef and came back and said about the fries and potatoes, “the chef said it’s just oil and salt is that okay?” The chef had no clue what was considered gluten free. Then we went inside to cancel our order because of the uncertainty but we said we wouldn’t if the chef could come out and say she knew for a fact the things labeled gluten free on the menu actually were gluten free. We proceeded to ask if things had shared fryers, and they do, yet that is not mentioned when ordering or noted as even just “gluten friendly” it’s labeled as gluten free. The chef also had no knowledge of what gluten was so we canceled our order and left. We told them they should not have anything labeled gluten free on their menu since they obviously have no clue what gluten actually is. They also do not have gluten free pancakes at all even though they advertise that they do and it is on their menu still.

Went here for the second time today. Apparently none of the items marked GF on the menu are gluten free any more. Wait staff then told me the wheat toast would be fine!

They have gf pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, and lots of coffees. I have celiac and am always leery of gf pancakes being cross contaminated, but It was great! 24 hr later I still feel fine. Cute cafe with indoor/outdoor seating.
