I love this place, but found out that their rice actually has gluten mixed in it with the sauce or oil they use… was very disappointed.

The staff was really conscientious about my GF allergy and made substitutes or omissions for some of the items I ordered. We’ve always been huge fans of Hando before I had to cut gluten out of my diet. Everything still tasted the same without!

Delicious sushi and they are very experienced with gluten free ordering. Most cut rolls (for take out) can be made gluten free. They have gluten free soy sauce and ingredients they substitute. The blue crab, yellowtail, salmon, spicy tuna, mushroom, and cucumber rolls are all delicious! I have also tried the shishito peppers. Since it’s been COVID, I have not tried their handrolls (dine in menu). Just let them know gluten free when ordering by phone or in the special instructions when ordering takeout online. My favorite sushi in town!
