Do not recommend! I asked about the wings and they are made in a shared fryer but the server told me the chef said "its hot enough to cook the gluten off". I told her that's not possible. Thankfully I want very hungry and just had a cocktail and the cauliflower.

Bad incident at Handsome Hog tonight. I made the mistake of trusting the server who rattled off a few items that were gluten friendly… I ordered the Snapper and grits. The snapper was coated in cornmeal but she stated it was gf. Food runner brought our food and I began eating a few bites and something told me to ask again when she came over, she went back to the kitchen and hurried back out to tell me to stop eating as it was not gf. I got pretty upset at this point and explained the seriousness of her mistake and how I’d be sick the remainder set of the night now. She then went on to try and tell me she had a friend with celiac so she understood- clearly she didn’t or this would t have happened. Just be warned if you done there to really check on what is actually safe.
