Their gluten free Injera is amazing and so is their veggie combo. A couple times though they forgot and sent me regular injera so must be vigilant. The gluten free one is buckwheat and quite dark.

Just went here last week, great experience. Food was excellent. I called ahead (morning of for the evening) and again specified to my server that all injera needed to be gluten free, including those that the food was placed on. I did not get sick.
Only thing was the service was a bit slow, but they were short staffed like so many other places right now. Overall, great experience!

I love Ethiopian food and had eaten at Harambe before my diagnosis. I had thought about trying it again and had done a bit of research on Ethiopian food and it looked like there is very little gluten in most of the dishes. I was walking by Harambe and saw that they have GF injera so I decided to try. I talked to the owner. He said with the GF injera, the lentil dish I was ordering was GF so it would be safe. He seemed to know about gluten so I gave it a shot. Bad call. I was very sick later that evening, all day yesterday, and feel very wobbly still today. Pretty sure it was gluten. It tasted great, but sadly I won’t be eating there again.

Ethiopian restaurant with lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options, as well as a great lamb curry. I popped in on a whim and they actually had gf injera all ready to go! (Most places make you call ahead.) Though it couldn’t hurt to call first to check if you have your heart set on it.
