Upon initial inspection, I thought I was going the wind up having a salad again but I was really hungry for something more. Our waitress was super kind and understanding. I ended up with a hamburger on gf bread with pickles and mustard, as well as chips and salsa. It worked fine for me! Really enjoyed the patio view.

Just wanted to confirm to the GF community that the Harbourage Restaurant is still in business post-Covid and can still accommodate gluten-free needs. They don’t have a GF menu but didn’t bat an eye when we asked about GF offerings, which was very welcome in an area where GF eating establishments seem scarce. They DO offer GF sandwich bread which didn’t fall apart, salads of course, and all-day breakfast. Our server was very familiar with which menu items could be modified and which ones to stay away from. One downside is that they don’t have a dedicated fryer, but my waistline is better for it. Beyond the menu, the restaurant is in a lovely location overlooking the Rainy River with great views from window tables indoors or the outdoor patio. All in all, a really nice hometown kind of place.

Staff was very accommodating in cleaning and keeping my son's food separate. Didn't seem put out at all by the request. There weren't a ton of options (he had a burger) but given the very limited options in town, I thought it was worth listing.
