Safe and good food. Not a ton of options and fries are no longer gluten free but food was well marked and they review safety protocols with you and menu items that are safe prior to ordering. Great atmosphere.

Amazing hamburgers and french fries in a designated fryer!! The manager usually will come out and talk to you when the server lets them know you are celiac. They are very careful and we have eaten there many, many times and I don’t get sick. They have many options including a GF brownie!
Warning!! Update they have changed their french fries and added some with a coating which has gluten!! if you are used to getting the fries here do not anymore.

Some Hard Rock locations have a gluten-free menu but some do not. Please check the particular location you are interested in.
Great atmosphere, but please *note* that they no longer have a dedicated fryer! :/
Still a good selection for gluten free - but be aware as of this week all Hard Rock Cafes have a NO LONGER HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER FOR FRIES - so they are no longer gluten free which is a HUGE bummer.
They also didn’t have the manager come out and talk through allergies which had always made me feel comfortable in the past as a celiac with allergies.

Told the hostess we had someone with celiac in our party and she sent over a manager with the gluten free menu. Manager assured us the kitchen would change their gloves and prepare the food safely. She also made us aware that they had a designated fryer for the fries. Celiac son ordered the ribs and fries, also came with slaw and baked beans, then milkshake for dessert. Very large plate of ribs. No symptoms of cross contamination!

Manager came out to talk to my brother and I after we informed the waiter that we both have celiac. She was so great and told us that we could eat the fries as they are cooked in a dedicated drier, they have Udi’s gf buns for the burgers, and the kitchen staff will clean space and change gloves before making our food. Waiter came back and took our orders. My brother’s burger came out flagged as an allergy, but my burger came out not flagged and with a regular bun even though I specified multiple times to the waiter that both of us have gluten allergies.
Manager was awesome and super knowledgeable, but perhaps should be the one to bring out the allergy-flagged dishes instead of the waitstaff. Still felt safe eating after sending back the burger. Would maybe go back if I really wanted a good burger again.

My Wife has Celiac disease which is why I use this app when we travel and she is super sensitive to CC. She did not have an allergic reaction however the waiter was acting like he was fed up and they brought out a dirty knife with her burger thankfully it wasn’t in it but on the side of the plate. Most likely never going here again with so many good options around

Took my daughter here because they have dedicated gluten free menu. Her sandwich came with an “allergy” marker in it. Right after her first bite, the server came back frantic because the buns was NOT gluten free. Consequently, she spent 30 minutes in the bathroom. The restaurant took her meal off the ticket, but the manager was very rude, did not apologize and when we spoke to her about how dangerous this was, said, “I took it off your bill, what else do you want me to do?” Be VERY careful if you choose to go here!

I worked here briefly. One of the fryers went down so everything was cooked on the same fryer. Nothing was communicated to the staff so people were being contaminated all day. When a gluten free order for a child came in, the kitchen manager told me that these are the most annoying orders to take because the parents are “psycho.” As the mom of a child with celiac disease, I could no longer take part in this.

Very enjoyable experience. The first thing the server asked was if there were any dietary requirements. The food was good and the staff seemed knowledgeable about celiac requirements. I felt comfortable that they were making every effort to be sure that the food was safe. This location does have a dedicated fryer.

Amazing food! GF marked menu and knowledge staff. Our bartender even recommend a drink made with Tito’s instead of the other alcohol that wasn’t gluten free. She also recommended a couple restaurants and bakeries in the area that have good GF and non GF (for my boyfriend) options. Best visit ever!

I have been to many Hard Rock Cafes in the US & Australia, but this is one of the first since becoming celiac. The staff was SO amazing at knowing the issues in preparing food for folks with gluten allergies. The manager came to the table and talked everything over, explained there was a separate fryer in kitchen for gluten free prep. The gluten free menu was full of choices and, when the food came out, it was marked with a flag. I felt very safe and got to enjoy my birthday evening dinner.

After reading all the great reviews we decided to give it a try. I have Celiac disease so gluten free by necessity. I went with my Nima Sensor in hand. I ordered the classic burger with no cheese. The Nima tester found no gluten. I ordered fries that were supposed to have been cooked in a designated fryer….the Nima sensor showed gluten found. The burger was good. Came with Udi bun

I was surprised at how good the food was from a big chain like this! The service was excellent and the GF brownie dessert was MASSIVE! Every GF item we received had a special flag / toothpick confirming the kitchen knew to make it GF. I am grateful to the folks who posted previous reviews! I haven’t been to a Hard Rock Cafe in many years! The wings were fantastic and my burger was much better than I expected!

The waitress brought me a gluten free menu (she saw me looking up the gf menu on my phone before I’d had a chance to even talk to her). Had the BEST experience tonight at Hard Rock Cafe. Server was phenomenal- 1st question she asked was whether anyone had any allergies. We were eating in but also ordering a meal to go for our son who has celiac. She answered all my questions then the manager came over and assured us that they take all the necessary precautions. He is asymptomatic so we won’t know if there were issues but he was one happy young man!!

Wouldn’t go back! Staff had no knowledge of safe alcohol outside of an angry orchard. The manager and server seemed to have the food portion under control but apparently didn’t as I was horribly sick! I don’t know what went wrong but I ordered a gluten free burger and fries. I thought in the restaurant that things were so great aside from the alcohol but guess not. Disappointed.

PLEASE READ!!!!
After reading reviews and seeing how many people had positive experiences eating here, I decided to give it a try. Now, it was a recipe for disaster honestly. My food anxiety make me nauseas as soon as I stepped in the door. Stomach cramping and churning I walked up to the hostess stand. Kristy, the hostess, answered all my questions. Do you have a GF menu? Yes. How careful are they with CC? Very, we take allergies and celiacs very seriously. I of course asked some other questions, and eventually decided to take the risk and try eating there. Instead of the waitress greeting us first, a supervisor, Dianne, came to our table instantly. She explained that they use separate cooking utensils, they have a separate fryer for French fries, the burgers are cooked on a separate grill from other grilled items, the open flame char grilled items are safe as nothing with gluten is ever grilled on that. She informed me that the seasoned fries are just salt and pepper so I won’t have to worry about any seasonings that could contain gluten. She informed me there is a button the servers press for allergies and gluten free that alerts the cooks. She told me lots of other safety features they have set in place and by the time she walked away (to go inform the kitchen of my condition) from the table all my anxiety had dissipated. Next, our server came, her name was Meagan, and she was very nice and made sure I felt comfortable, when I asked for ketchup she brought a new bottle so I could read the ingredients and make sure that brand is GF (it was). I ordered the BBQ platter. The food was amazing, and I didn’t get sick. I could’ve cried from happiness when I got home as I hadn’t the slightest of stomach pains, nausea, or feelings of impending doom.

I was diagnosed with Celiac disease 2 weeks before my husband and I went away on our 28th anniversary trip. Most stressful part is eating out every night. We went to Hard Rock because I saw the write up on this app. My waitress was beyond amazing. She helped me make decisions. She knew we were celebrating and she made a list of drinks to stay away from. She knew we were on a trip and she cared enough to eye out a pretty long list for me. We tipped her well and I hugged her thanking her. I can’t remember her name but she was amazing. Also the manager came up to me and explained their rules on food allergies. I felt comfortable about eating and I didn’t get sick. I’d go back every night of this trip if I could!!
9/24/22- my husband remembered our waitresses name- her name is Megan and she was wonderful!! I can’t say enough about her!

My husband and I love this Hard Rock location! The manager and wait staff are very knowledgable, and the manager will spend time going over the menu with you. Simply inform your waiter of your allergies! And, they will do the rest. They take measures to avoid cross contamination and use a separate fryer for GF fries! GF buns are available and there are many options. GF Salad dressings are limited so bring your own if you do not like their lime citrus balsamic vinegarette. I was surprised it was very good, but may not be for everyone.

Gluten free menu. I went here, I got chicken and green beans. They mark the food with a purple toothpick so you know it’s gluten free. I then got told they had a gluten free brownie. Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to when it comes to making me feel comfortable trusting them with my gluten free needs. They not only had many menu items to choose from, my waiter made a point of asking our table if anyone had any allergies to be aware of before we ordered. Then after I ordered the manager came out to our table and spoke directly to me reassuring me of the measures they take to prevent cross contamination and asking if I had any trouble with the gluten free menu. My food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and he staff did outstanding making me feel comfortable with the dining experience.

We had Jay and he was a wonderful server! He informed us that his wife has Celiac and carefully went through all the precautions they take to keep things Celiac-friendly, including telling us that the fries were safe to order because they only cook fries in the fry oil but all other fried things would not be. The food was tastier than expected, especially for a "tourist trap" kind of place but great reviews here are backed up by a great experience!

This was probably the best meal I've had in Myrtle Beach, it was excellent food. Got a burger and fries with wings as a starter. I would recommend caution though. Even though they had a gluten free dedicated menu and the staff seemed knowledgeable, I still ended up getting sick the morning after quite badly. I am not sure if it was just a fluke or what but highly recommended caution especially considering how much we paid for me only to get wheat poisoning from that meal.

Amazing! I walked in and said I have a gluten allergy, the hostess said when you sit, I’ll send over the kitchen manger. The kitchen manager came over and sat at our table and explained the allergy cooking process. He personally took my order and told me I have nothing to worry about. I had gluten free chicken wings that he grilled for me and gluten free fries which were cooked in a dedicated fryer. No cross contamination, great experience!

I was pleased with the knowledge of the server. Had pulled pork on gluten free bun. Was one of the best buns I’ve had. Server reported that fries were gluten free also. Didn’t care for the beans but slaw and apple slices on sandwich were delicious.

I was impressed with this restaurant, especially with it being a chain and not having such a great experience at the one in Florida. From the time we walked in and spoke with the hostess to the time we received our bill, everyone was attentive and made sure I was safe and my meal was prepared just right. They even informed me they had a separate fryer for their french fries. Definitely a place to look into when visiting Myrtle Beach.

I called ahead and spoke to the manager to ask about how safely I could eat at this restaurant gluten-free. He assured me not to eat the fries as they recently switched brands and they would have wheat - and now the fryer would be cross contaminated, so don’t order wings
I asked his name and if he would be there and could babysit my meals since I am driving seven hours tomorrow
The manager was leaving - and yet he share with the next manager name Sam
When I arrived, I met Sam who had told the kitchen staff and bartender of my sensitive food allergy
I have had to eat this way for 19 years - and I have learned how important it is to talk to a manager and stress how important it is to eat out without cross contamination…- and yay! I had a great pulled pork sandwich on a GF bun with mashed potatoes and it was delicious and I didn’t get sick!
