I was told that there was only one choice for me if I needed to be gluten free. Since we had waited 1 1/2 hours to be seated, I opted for my single choice, a grilled chicken w/spinach salad and raspberry vinaigrette. All other dressings contained wheat flour and were made in house. As it turned out, the salad was delicious as was the vinaigrette, which I rarely like. So despite the disappointing start, I had a filling and yummy meal. However, since I had hoped for seafood, I won’t be returning. I can get a great grilled chicken salad at most restaurants.

Basically 2 gluten free items, salad and burgers. We were told that they would not adjust the menu(to make it gluten free)because it would slow down the kitchen.

Will Not go back!!!

Waited two hours and once seated we asked the waitress for a gluten free menu and she said they don’t have one. Asked how the fried food was cooked and she said she didn’t know. We said is it fried with cornmeal - yes sure. I said are you sure, she said no, just stay away from anything fried. She didn’t know if salad dressings were GF either. I told her to write down GF allergy and check to see if Ranch was GF. Very disappointed and this waitress is not knowledgeable at all.

Waiter was very knowledgeable about what had gluten and what didn’t. They do not have a GF menu anymore as they said it was “inaccurate”. The food was AMAZING! I had the salmon dinner (with no glaze).

No longer have a gluten free menu which makes ordering difficult. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and talked to the sushi chef to make sure my order was safe. GF soy sauce available. The food was fresh and delicious.

It was a busy night and we had 2 waitresses serving us. I ordered a white sushi roll off the gluten free menu. I double checked with the 2nd waitress that what I ordered was gluten free, and she assured me that she spoke with the sushi chef and it was. I didn’t feel that she was listening to me and should have trusted my gut. They brought my roll out, I ate half of it, then the waitress that assured me she’d spoken with the chef came out and apologized saying she gave me the wrong one, and it had gluten. The sushi chef came out and said he’d just been informed I had a gluten allergy and apologized, but I’d already eaten half of it. The waitress never came back to the table. The chef said he’d been a sushi chef for 3 1/2 years and it only had a little gluten, as if that would make it OK. So now I wait for the inevitable, and see how much of my vacation is ruined.

Excellent food, service, and drinks. The waitress knew most of the items gluten content (or lack thereof), but was happy to check everything questionable. My husband and I each had crab buckets (CANNOT recommend the King crab highly enough), a white sushi roll, and some adult beverages. Crabby morning is an excellent GF option for anyone looking for a drink. I don’t remember the names of their other beverages, but they had a lot of variety in both food and drink options for anyone with celiac.

Aside from the waitress telling me she also gets the gluten rash but can't give up gluten, this place is 5 stars all the way!! Sushi wasn't the best, but it also didn't make me sick---bonus!! I was so excited to have a 2 page menu to pick from! We had amazing Rockefeller oysters and some sushi and squid salad. They even brought me gf soy sauce!!

The Gluten Free menu is considerably more sizeable than what is listed on their website. The waitress even brought us the ingredients for the Crabby Morning to make sure that it was ok for my wife to have. Karolina was knowledgeable and accommodating. The spinach and artichoke dip is served with carrots and celery. The view is nice on the outside seating area. Portions are large and filling. Leaps and bounds better than our experience in January at Joe's Crab Shack down the street.

Gluten-free items are marked on the menu; however, when my husband ordered a shrimp dinner with fries that was marked as gluten-free, the server returned to the table and said the person responsible for the kitchen recommended a baked potato instead of fries because of cross contamination.

Gluten free menu. Food was very good. Grilled shrimp with broiled potatoes. Even enjoyed sushi as an appetizer and gluten-free soy sauce. Waiter appeared very knowledgeable about gluten. Felt very safe eating here and no issues.

I had to call and order food from another restaurant while my party ordered there food. They were almost done eating by the time I got back with my food. The manager said steak and crab were the only things that could be prepared gluten free. If you do not eat steak or bottom feeders, do not bother going to this restaurant.

I have mixed feelings about this place. First of all, I will say I DIDN'T get sick (looks like they've done well in the past judging by previous reviews). The staff I dealt with just didn't seem to have much training on what foods actually contain gluten. The chef (who I'm not totally sure was the chef bc he looked about 12) came out to speak to me about the meal and assured me they could leave off the potatoes if I wanted. Also, the waitress said I could use the regular soy sauce on the table for my sushi. They were nice and accommodating when I corrected them, but it left me a bit nervous.

All that said, I had the Dungeness crab bucket with corn on the cob, potatoes, onions and sausage. The crab was a bit overcooked, but still good. Also had a spicy tuna roll as an appetizer that was great. First time I've had sushi in a long while.

Since I came out unscathed, I would recommend. Just proceed with caution.

GF is listed by all gluten free items on the menu. My hubby and I had buckets. Food was really good and the restaurant is very clean. They have a lemon salt scrub by the sink in the bathroom that eliminates that crab smell from your hands. Overall excellent experience.
