This is the second location. The other location is in Palos Heights. when you walk in you are even asked if you have a food allergy so they give you the correct menu! My 4 year old son has celiac so I am so very excited we have a place more cautious with his food. AND he can get pancakes! For many...no big deal...for my son....rare and exciting!

I ordered the vegan chicken salad. The menu listed “pepita seeds” on the item and I wasn’t entirely aware of what they are but didn’t think too much about it. I was excited to be there so I snapped a photo of our meals. I proceeded to eat the salad and realized pepita seeds are pumpkin seeds, which I am allergic to. I told the server I am allergic to pumpkin and would like it remade to go. Then I went to speedway for a Benadryl. I get home and reheat the “chicken” breast and noticed it’s the exact same one from the contaminated salad, sliced the exact same way with the same char marks. I compared the original photo to the reheated “remade” chicken breast, which was touching the pumpkin seeds in the contaminated dish. If I didn’t notice and ate it, I probably would’ve had to go the the ER. I messaged Harvest Room on Facebook and they didn’t respond. My lesson: don’t trust places that cater to allergies. Even if they have menus for dietary restrictions they probably will ignore your allergy requests for their own convenience

The gluten free pancakes were incredible and the service was phenomenal! As an added benefit, I was traveling with a large dog and he was allowed to sit with us on the patio.

Great place with wonderful ambiance. They were very accommodating of my restrictions. It was nice to have a separate menu that was all laid out. Waitress was knowledgeable. We will be back here for sure.

Celiac safe! They have a separate menu for gluten, though it also have vegan alternatives too. Cocktails are delicious. Highly recommend the brunch! We didn't get sick. I had an omelette and my partner had a sandwich.

Food is good. Lots of choices. Staff is not as good. Kind of rude and had to wait a really long time to get a drink, to place my order and to get food. Probably wouldn’t go back unless I was in a pinch.

Harvest Room has a gluten free menu (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan are on the same menu). They are very accommodating and the waitress who has served us several times is very knowledgeable. If she isn't confident about one of my questions, she asks the kitchen. We have enjoyed every meal there, but their Thanksgiving meal was especially wonderful.
