The menu is marked with numerous gluten free and vegetarian options. I had a good conversation with the waitress and she was very accommodating. I selected the pork tacos which are GF, but it was necessary to tweak them to avoid dairy as well. They were tasty and earned a smile on my Nina gluten sensor. I would say that you’d have to find a 100%GF restaurant to find a safer meal. As a celiac I would not hesitate to dine here again.

On an island that is not super celiac friendly, we were very excited to find this place! Knowledgeable staff and heard the owners wife is celiac, which is why they have things like GF hoisen sauce. Varied menu with several gf items from seafood to carnitas tacos and a couple vegetarian dishes plus dessert. We were quite pleased even though it isn’t dedicated, it felt safe! Oh and cider and gf beer!
This place is WONDERFUL. Their menu identifies gluten-free and vegan items, and there is a nice selection of gluten-free dishes to choose from. Beyond that, the food is absolutely delicious and features a lot of local ingredients. Lopez Island, overall, is very gluten-free friendly.
