I used to love this place before I was diagnosed, but I have never eaten here and not gotten glutened. As in, immediate symptoms just a few bites in. I’m not sure if they don’t realize what’s in their sauce (because I’ve asked and been assured it’s safe) or if it’s that they don’t take the separate kitchen space or need for a clean space seriously.. but as good as their teriyaki is, it’s not worth it.

On the severe celiac side and eat here all the time without issue. There are only two things that contain gluten. Macaroni salad and the chow mein noodles on the Pacific Island Salad.

Everything else is gluten free.

Great flavor and fair portion. Say no macaroni salad and be sure to request none and I had absolutely no reaction. Hot when the door dasher arrived with it. Less onions in veggies would have been nice but overall good and open late.

I ordered gf and got macaroni salad.Did not touch any of it. Not safe for people with Celiac!

DO NOT order through Uber eats. I got a buy one get one deal. Instead of rice, they gave me a side of Mac and cheese that has cross contaminated my order. Uber is not refunding my money either.

Loved it- lots of options just no Mac salad, and instead I had pineapple for a side.

Hawaiian Bros has been such a great option for me as a Celiac -- a fast food place I can eat at! The only thing with gluten is the Mac and cheese, which does come in the default option for all of the bowls so be careful to ask for it to be gluten free and keep that off! But it's easy for them to keep it separate and I've rarely had any issues.

All the staff was very helpful and made sure to look at all the sauces. Took my young daughter with CD here and she loved it! Will definitely be back.

I love this place! I have Celiacs disease as well as unable to eat dairy and this is one of the few places I have found that I can eat without worry. I have never gotten sick from eating here, and I eat here quite frequently. Staff is extremely friendly and the food is great.

Celiac friendly?

Stopped on our way back home from Chicago. We're looking for affordable, tasty, and quick. (Hard to find for gluten free on the road). Hawaiian Bros delivered all three and more! :) $10-20/person. They can split your plate with two proteins if you prefer. I had the Honolulu and Malakai. Yum! Everything is gluten free except the macaroni salad and the mandarin orange salad. Including the condiments-they brought tamari packets to our table!!!!

They also have artisan root beer and cream soda, Hawaiian juices, etc.

The Dole soft serve is delicious-the twist combines strawberry and pineapple. It tastes like summertime!

Note: protein comes served on rice as well as having a side of rice.

Delicious food and almost everything is gluten free. I got a large plate and made three meals off of it. Highly recommend!

Most menu items are GF (avoid Mac salad and salad option). Pretty safe just by the nature of how they prep the food (Mac salad is prepared separately, all grilled meats are GF).

Order at a kiosk, but they have allergen list at the main counter. The only item with gluten is the macaroni. I substituted it for veggies. The sauces don’t have gluten though, even the teriyaki. The meat tender and delicious! Fresh pineapple or GF and DF dole whip as dessert. Great and fast! Best of all, no sickness after eating. 👍🏼
