Best ice cream around and excellent shaded outdoor seating! Being new to the area I was hesitant to try a new ice cream stand out of fear of gluten and cross contamination. I have visited Hayward’s twice now without any reactions and their ice cream is very good. When I ordered with an allergy they used a clean scoop and took from a new container to prevent CC. You can ask for their ice cream flavor allergen list which also covers their toppings. Will go back again!
