Review of Hearty Kitchen

The GF fried chicken here isn't good. It's THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. No joke. Stuff is better than most regular fried chicken I've had. My wife had the Pork Banh Mi sandwich on GF bread, and it was INCREDIBLE. Oh, and those fries. Those wonderful, crunchy and full of flavor french fries, which are apparently hand cut. PERFECT. We topped it off with a glass of Hibiscus Ice Tea, and I had the Watermelon Water. This was probably the best lunch we've had, hands down in the last 5 years or so. And the best part... absolutely ZERO issues after the meal. We usually wait about an hour or so to see if there was any cross contamination issues (which is common in most places), but there was ZERO. I later found out one of the owners has celiac so they take their GF stuff to heart, creating a completely separate GF area in the kitchen, which includes separate friers! Incredible. I hope they expand their menu, but if they don't, that's just fine. I will support their existing menu as long as I have to, to keep this place going.
