Heitmiller Steakhouse

We’ve been to Heitmiller 3 or 4 times in the past few months. I’ve had Jack Chicken and steaks, both with sides like sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, cole slaw and broccoli. All the servers have been very nice. My husband even skipped the rolls, which looked so good (bread is what I miss most at restaurants!).

Went here to get a steak for my daughter and she was made fun of and told “we don’t serve your kind here”. She’s 9. They don’t understand gluten free and I wouldn’t feel safe eating here.

I ordered a steak medium rare, and the only side they could guarantee (server not helpful or knowledgable) was the steamed broccoli. The steak was like shoe leather and the broccoli was uncooked and neither were seasoned at all…not even salt and pepper.

Enjoyed a steak dinner here. Asked about gluten free options, chef prepared steak separate and items on menu not fried would be ok minus any bread items.
