Had a great evening at Hey Nonny. Chef Mauricio “Noe” Sanchez-Tapia is So friendly. He came out when we ordered and assured us the food was safe for our Celiac. Came out during to make sure food was to our liking and after. All the food was delicious. I forgot to take pictures but everything we ordered was gluten free. Gluten free grilled calamari. So tender the best we have had. Gluten free Karaage (Japanese fried boneless chicken) was delicious. My celiac who doesn’t usually eat chicken had 2 pieces. Scallops so tender, hamburger and fries (yes separate fryer and uses potato and rice flours). Gluten free Braised short rib was tender. Desert did not disappoint crème brûlée and chocolate cake. Along with great food and a great wait staff there was music the adults enjoyed.

Awesome experience! Went for my birthday dinner due to recent reviews on FB saying the Chef has celiac and had a variety of gf options on the menu. After ordering appetizers the chef came out to talk to me and sure I would be safe.

Head chef, Noe, has celiac himself! When he heard that we were not just gf but celiac, he came out and spoke to us.
75% of the menu was or could be made gf or df.
Ordered chicken paillard, scallops w risotto, and FRENCH ONION SOUP all celiac safe.
Delicious wine selection and a few gf dessert options as well.
Overall, amazing.

My fiancé and I really love this place. I have never felt sick after eating here. The menu changes a lot and it’s rather small, but there are always gluten free options. I’ve spoken with the servers as well as the chef directly about gluten and they are knowledgeable. It’s not a dedicated gluten free restaurant so make you you notify them so they can take the right precautions.

The gf burgers have visibly differentiated buns, and I’ve never been glutened here after eating. There are only a few gluten free options, but the atmosphere is great.
Edit: as of August 20 they removed the gf buns from their menu, not sure when they will return. Other gf options are just small veggie plates. I ordered a dish and asked for something to not be included, and kitchen did not comply, so I question whether they read other notes about gluten made by waitstaff.
