I ordered the Big Kid's Mac and Cheese and....it was literally rice noodles (like you get with pad Thai) in a cheese sauce that tasted like it wasnt made in house. The noodles were overcooked too. I did not get sick tho, so it was safe! Just not very good.

Awesome food. I got Big Kid Mac-n- cheese. It was very good and creamy. I had enough to take for a second meal. Gluten free was marked on the menu. The employee appeared very knowledgeable. They also have a gf cheesecake which was awesome too. My husband got a Caesar Salad which was huge. Atmosphere was great and reasonably priced considering the place-main strip in the Dells.

This place was AMAZING! My daughter was diagnosed with celiacs a year ago and it's rare we find places with staff that is knowledgeable about celiacs. They were so kind and the restaurant is beautiful! Highly recommended!!!

This was one of the best experiences we have had since my daughter’s celiac diagnosis. There were 3 pasta dishes and the one she chose was delicious. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel safe. 100% recommend this to anyone with celiac. Or anyone in general! Their non gf food was also amazing. Atmosphere was beautiful too.

Harper pasta with gf free noodles is amazing! Loaded baked potato soup and pop rocks strawberry cheesecake are both super good too. Highly recommend. We always have to stop here when we are in the Dells.

There was not a large selection of things for my GF/DF son to eat, so he ordered steak which he said was delicious. Wait staff was friendly and good about checking with the kitchen for safe things for my son to eat. The rest of us enjoyed our meals too and enjoyed the view onto the touristy street from the second floor!

I had the pasta and it was alright, and my dad has the Caesar salad and he said it was great.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!!!!! WORST restaurant ive ever been to in regards to allergies (although no one else were really crazy about their meals). We called ahead and they said they would"accommodate any allergy"...boy was that a lie. I asked to talk to the chef and the waitress said no. I asked again and told her i was allergic to gluten and dairy and she said no again and said that maybe it would be possible in the middle of the day when no one was there, but it was spring break, which coincidentally it was not busy and it was 1:45. She told me i could have one item on the whole menu: rice noodles with spaghetti sauce. I also have an intolerance to tomatoes and told her that and asked if the kitchen could just take some rice noodles and mix it with olive oil and garlic and she rudely told me no and belittled me by inferring i was weird and difficult bc of my allergies. I would have walked out in the beginning, except i was at my mother-in-laws birthday celebration. If they would have just told us over the phone that they were awful with allergies, we could have gone to a number of other good restaurants in the area. I have never been treated so awful and felt so odd and awful for.having food allergies. This restaurant should be ashamed of itself

I had the pasta, potato soup. Both GF and safe fir celiacs. Delicious and great service
Yes
So I have been here a couple times. The menu has items listed as GF. I told the waiter we had tonight that I needed GF because I have celiac and I asked for the loaded potato soup which was mark GF. My husband asked if he could make sure the staff knew and he basically brushed it off and said they do not do anything differently in the kitchen. Not impressed at all. It depends on the person waiting on you if they are knowledgeable.

Got the big kid Mac and cheese and added bacon and made it spicy, it was very tasty and did not get sick after eating here.
Yes
No separate menu but wait staff was very knowledgeable. About half of the menu was available
Very knowledgeable staff. Very accommodating and very good food.

Great service and waitress was knowledgeable about cross contamination. As someone with celiac disease, this is awesome! The walleye was excellent!
Yes
Good food but not as many options as hoped. Pasta was great and got a large portion. enough for leftovers!!
Best Gluten Free Dinner Ever! & They had 4(!) other entree options. I loved this as I didn't have to ask multiple questions about accommodations on the rest of the menu, which just gets so tiring. They all sounded so good it was difficult to decide which one. I chose the Walleye. I can't remember the exact description. Something like Walleye encrusted with potato, on top of garlic mashed potatoes covered in some sort of creamy corn bacon deliciousness with a vegetable medley made in heaven. My date had a creamy basil bruschetta chicken pasta dish. He loved it as well. There were GF pasta options for all pasta dishes. We finished by sharing Pop Rock Cheese Cake which I was only going to have a small taste of because I was so full, but almost ate more than my fair share. Generous portions worth every penny and we have left overs of our entrees for breakfast. You'd pay at least twice the price for a similar meal in Chicago. It was a little loud but with food that yummy we hardly noticed. It was a great date night. Thank you so much!

I can't understand the good reviews. There's only 4 GF options and they don't even sound appetizing. Pork belly rubbed in coffee with carmel machiatto sauce or fish with marmalade on top? Ew. Whatever I gave it a try. fish skin wad clearly old and rubbery and over cooked. The contents of the dish just reflected such bad prep work. Giant chunks of carrots were raw and crunced but the onions and peppers were total mush. The quino mix was not even warm. Our waitress was rude and had attitude multiple times. The place was LOUD with children under the age of 5 running around everywhere to the point the floor shook. They also played a ton of 70s music here loudly from a radio station and it was obnoxious, especially when the DJ would come one and yell. I mean seriously this place is a waste of space.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. GF pasta option, plus sandwiches converted to salads - better than you might think! My 13 year old son loved the Soprano as much as I did!!!
Lots of options including pasta- staff helpful. Tested with my Nima and was gluten free!
Great find! Wonderful food & service!
They do not have a gluten free menu. They have gluten free options and coming at lunchtime - proved a little more difficult for our waitress to know what was gluten free and what was not, which was disappointing not to mention nerve wracking in the fact that the wait staff in this day n age should be knowledgeable. The food was good but not outstanding. Good reasonable prices.
Went above and beyond to make sure my food was made free of anything I needed and cooked in a separate part of the kitchen.
AMAZING!!! Everybody with Celiacs should not be worried about cross contamination aslong as your waiter knows you have Celiacs! Waiters were wonderful!

Had the Big Kid Mac & Cheese. It was excellent. The staff was very attentive to my needs. They have several gluten free options. Any pasta can be gluten free (rice pasta). The is several items on the menu that can be made gluten free just ask.

Had the fredo pasta and it was amazing! Melt in your mouth good! Our waitress was very good with my sensitivity! Their menu had a lot of options for a gluten free person! Would defiantly come back!

we are mostly gluten intolerant so cross contamination risks are minimal. we are dairy free however. I loved the raw mandarin cheesecake dessert. For entree we ordered rice pasta with broccoli and chicken sautéed in butter (butter doesn't bother me for some reason). Delicious. I couldn't help noticing the clientele appeared to be all people who take care of themselve...healthy looking. Says a lot about their menu and goal. Curry ravioli was available as well gf!:

I wasn't too impressed by the menu choices. No gf buns. I had gf pasta which was ok. Not sure if I would go back
There are some options on the menu that are gluten free but not many and not celiac friendly. The menu linked to this site is not accurate.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!! We have other food allergies besides gluten and the staff was excellent about them all!!! Many options and for the first time my little kids got to eat butter noodles at a restaurant! So good and the food presentation was top notch for a reasonable price! The owners are the chefs and take pride in their food and the service was excellent! I am for sure coming back!

Easy to tell what is gluten free. Delicious!
Great View. Some nice Gluten Free options.
The High Rock Cafe has many options for the gluten-free customer. We offer a rice noodle option for all our pastas and all our entrees have a symbol next to our gluten free items.
