Very knowledgeable about celiac, gluten intolerance and cross contamination.
Not Celiac friendly and they don’t even offer anything gluten free. I don’t know how they made it on here but this place should be scratched off this list.

This diner was first established in 1929 and still had the nostalgic charm with modern updates. It had a great atmosphere and we were treated like family. They demonstrated knowledge and care for your well being. Staff was friendly. I felt very safe that what I was served fulfilled my request to be gluten free and made my order in new pans. Due to them having a large party of over 15, after placing my order they stated they wanted to finish their order before they started mine to be sure that they could be sure the kitchen was cleaned before preparing for my GF meal so there would be no cross contamination ( they extra wait was minimal and I so appreciated the special time and care. I would highly recommend this restaurant (FYI - they have a waitress that also has celiac). Not to mention the food was great!

Not very knowledgeable about gf, but if you ask, they have gf bread. Omelettes and home fries are great. They do have burgers/sandwiches- not sure if they can make it gf. We had the toast.

Went here hoping for a decent GF breakfast, instead we were greeted by a surly waitress who had no clue what we were asking for. I'm only giving 1 star because I have to. If you have Celiacs avoid this place.

fantastic classic NJ diner! manager was very helpful with recommending gluten free dishes and they have gf bread.
Service was good. Very excited to find that they had gf bread. I ordered a hamburger with the gf bread-'it was delicious. Bread came toasted. Not sure if it was toasted in a gluten free toaster but I didn't have any issues!
