I couldn't order anything because there was only one gf item, chips and queso, on the entire room service menu. There's no way to access online menus. The menu items were labeled gf if they were... Which was one item.

Service was okay. Server only knew what was GF that was already marked on menu, wasn't able to elaborate or answer questions. Didn't even note on the ticket that I had an allergy/Celiac, which was a red flag for me. Only like 4 things on the menu that are listed as GF options and one of them is nachos, but those may actually be cooked in a shared fryer so I stayed away from that. Ended up getting short rib tacos which were good but way overly priced.

They have a grain salad listed as GF that has farro in it. I don’t trust anything listed after seeing that.

Not celiac friendly. Chips are in a shared fryer and the severs are not trained well. Media grill and the Executive Lounge visited both poor food choices.
No
Media Grill-Gf items listed on regular menu. I had chicken lettuce wraps and Thai rice bowl. My celiac son had chips and salsa. We returned a year later and our waiter insisted the shrimp spring roll was safe but it was not. Turns out he insisted it was fried in separate fryer but it is not. Went back and talked to manager she apologized and said they are working on getting a dedicated fryer. She encouraged people to avoid fried items if cross contamination is an issue.
Yes
We spent a weekend at the hotel and I’ve got a mixed review. The menus are marked with GF next to those recipes made with GF ingredients but the preparation is NOT guaranteed GF. Yikes! For instance, the chips may be cross contaminated during frying but the guacamole and salsa are GF, so the menu item has a GF by it. Our server did not feel confident in guiding us through our choices and went back to the kitchen for back up. The chef at Media was sent to our table. Chef Todd was very understanding and offered several options for our children. He informed his staff about Celiac and said it was worth revisiting with the servers. We were so pleased with our dinners which were made-to-order including chicken and mashed potatoes for our kids. The morning continental breakfast spread did not have visible GF items except cut fruit but the server brought us GF muffins upon request. The gift shop and outdoor pool kids concierge shack has prepackaged GF snacks for purchase. So, thumbs up for service and attentiveness, but thumbs down for mislabeled menus.
