Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q

I went to the one in Derby, and I only had dry ribs with their mild BBQ sauce, and it was delicious and I did not get sick! I am pretty sensitive Celiac, no eggs or dairy and was very hesitant but it worked out great! They didn't have a printed GF menu, but they had a hand written list for the cashier for what was and was not GF and the cashier proactively asked the manager if she couldn't answer the questions herself. I would eat those ribs again for sure!!

We were able to choose between all the meats!

This location had a list posted of gluten-free vs gluten items. All their meats are GF, nota ton of GF sides, but enough to have a meal. They also had a baked potato on the menu. I did not inquire about it, but I'm sure they'd cut it open with a clean knife if asked.

I got the Giant Stuffed Potato. It was huge and delicious! Most meats are gluten free (not sure about the hot links) and the sauces are all gluten free as well. I didn't try them but the baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw are all gluten free as well. It was a very filling, reasonably priced, celiac-friendly meal!

Staff knew which items are gluten-free (they said all meats & sauces and their beans and potato salad are GF). They also gladly changed into fresh gloves before preparing my order. And I felt healthy after eating their food.

They took the no gluten very seriously. I got a loaded baked tater and everything was in its own container. Plus the staff was very friendly.
