No Gluten free menu as specified. Waitress did not understand what gluten free meant and thought it meant totally dairy free lol.

Eaten here several times. Love the potatoes with pulled pork or brisket. Waitress knowledgeable about gf. On one visit she said they just put new oil in the fryers that morning so the fries would be gf too, since we were the first customers, but passed since the potato is so amazing. Not sure if they still have a gf menu.

The employee was new so she wasn’t fully aware of the options, but she consulted with someone in the back and they assured me all of the seasonings and sauces for the meats are gluten free. The owner is also working on a dedicated gluten free menu. I had the pulled pork, half rack of ribs, brisket and coleslaw. I would not order brisket or the coleslaw again, the brisket was very dry and the coleslaw was watery, but the pulled pork was wonderful and the ribs tasty, if a bit drier than I usually prefer. Both the sauces they gave me (on the side to prevent cross contamination) were wonderful. It’s been two days since I ate there and haven’t had any reactions.

Fantastic meal. Mike, the owner, makes the barbecue sauce, ribs, etc. and they’re almost all gluten-free. Many of the sides are gluten-free, too. Waitstaff was able to explain what items were and weren’t okay. Had no trouble eating there and will absolutely go back when next in the area.

We get take out pulled pork and bbq sauce from Hokies pretty often. Very good bbq and no reactions that I can remember. Trust me! I typically don't forget throwing up for an hour 😉 Great food and caring, knowledgeable staff!

What a restaurant! Best BBQ I have had. Went back 2 days in a row! Their sides are a little lacking but we got The Rivalry and it was to die for.

i love this place. the servers are suuuuuper friendly and never rude to me about my celiacs. i have never gotten sick from here. i highly recommend this place ... not to mention the reasonable prices. cant beat the brisket here i promise!

Chef was sensitive to gluten issue. Server double checked everything! They were great!
