Home.made is a beautiful local restaurant. It’s cozy and fancy all at the same time. We went a few years ago before COVID and loved our meal and they have reopened. My husband and I went out last night for our anniversary. Got dressed up and enjoyed delicious GF fried chicken, a wonderful NC trout with Brussels sprouts and butternut squash. All of their proteins on the menu last night were gluten free but I think there menu changes up so check when you go. We had a delicious “snack” appetizer of dates stuffed with pimento cheese topped with almonds. So simple yet delicious! The evening was great and we will be back! No issues with gluten. Would be a great spot for a girls night or nice dinner.

I got the fried shrimp- absolutely delicious! The cost was appropriate. I wasn't thrilled about the side options but the shrimp was fantastic.

Have eaten here a few times now and haven’t gotten sick. I’m a very sensitive celiac and they obviously are very careful and accommodating— not even the slightest stomach ache after eating there. Definitely going to make it a regular spot.

Several GF appetizer and entree options labeled on the full menu. The manager came out when our food did to reiterate everything was GF. We would go again!

They menu was clearly marked with their gluten free options- which were quite a few & their staff was very knowledgeable. I was so excited I was able to have fried cheese curds & fried chicken! It’s been soooo long! (Which was fabulous). I am very sensitive and had no issues. The others in the party enjoyed their food as well.

I went here last night for the first time after looking on the Gluten-Free Athens Facebook page. I suffer from various other allergies including dairy, peanuts, and treenuts. My server was able to talk to the chef and came out with a personalized menu with all of the items crossed off that I was unable to eat and offered substitutions. I ordered the gluten free fried chicken (Coated with corn flour) and it was amazing!!! Best of all, I didn’t get sick after since the fryer is just for gluten free items. I wish I had found this place sooner!!
