Even if I didn't have Coeliac Disease, this would be my go-to place for burgers in Cambridge. The staff are well trained and take great precautions to avoid cross-contamination. I've never had any issues eating here. The gluten-free buns are soft, taste amazing and don't fall apart! Plus, this is one of the only places I know in the UK where I can have onion rings! Honest is a great option for dinners with veggie and vegan friends, too. The Cambridge branch is small and buzzy, so sometimes there's a short wait for a table. I love Honest Burgers!

Honest Burger is a great option for gluten free eating. Children’s menu can all be gluten free so nice to have all options. Server checked about allergies and confirmed options so felt like a safe place to eat.

The only gluten items in here is the regular bun and some beer, so all fryers are dedicated gluten free! Onion rings are great, and server was knowledgeable about celiac. Food was delicious!

Very safe (Coeliac UK accredited) and very tasty!! Everything on the menu is gf apart from buns (gf/ve on request). So, the world is your gluten-free oyster! Reasonably priced, and great vegan options too.

GF onion rings??? Count me in!!
One of the best GF meals i’ve had so far. The onion rings and the chips were incredible!! I also had a crispy chicken burger (which is usually so hard to find GF!) which was a 10/10. Highly highly recommend.
Every burger on their menu can be made GF and all of the sides are!

Great onion rings! Fries too. Vegan burger was ok, but nice to have somewhere safe in Cambridge. There’s supposed to be a GF arepa stall at market hill, but there wasn’t when we got there, so I had to scramble to find somewhere else. This was good, and we hung out there avoiding the cold and rain for a while and they didn’t kick us out. My friend really liked her cheap lemon/gin/elderflower drink too.

Had Fries and Honest Burger after interrogating the waitress. Seems safe. Had no adverse reaction.
Yes
Very good burgers and fries! They said the only menu item with gluten were regular buns (they have gf ones as well) so the fries were safe to eat.

Delicious Cambridge burger and chips! Highly recommend and we’ll be back!
Yes
They asked if I was coeliac - And I watched the chef thoroughly clean the open kitchen and wash his hands up to above his elbows. Food was delicious and the bun didn't taste of sponge or cardboard. Win win!
Food prepared away from gluten containing products (the only gluten containing products on the menu are bread buns, they have gluten free buns as an option). They were knowledgeable about coeliac disease and cross contact.

My gluten free onion ring dreams are 100% fulfilled after a visit to Honest Burger. And the burger I got, with GF bun, was fantastic. ALL food is GF except their ordinary hamburger buns and beer. But they have GF buns and GF beer too. ALL sides and all burger options are GF. Honest Burger is a gem! P.S. waitress told me the founders are Coeliac, which explains a lot!
