Seemed like a pretty cool place with a decent amount of GF items. I was curious about the shrimp and grits, and the jambalaya, but reviews in google seemed mixed so I went with the burger.
The waitress was great at helping me navigate the menu and she made a note for the kitchen that I was GF. Having said that, the GF bun was really spongey and one of the worst buns I’ve ever had. The burger also seemed like it had been microwaved, there was no browning or grill marks on the meat and it was definitely cooked beyond medium. Not sure if that’s because they cook it a different way to avoid cross contamination?
I was also told the fries are GF in a separate fryer but I’m not sure that’s actually true. My advice is to skip this place and eat next door at Vaughan Cheese Counter & Bar!
