Called to confirm I could eat here with my severe allergy and they said they cook all gluten free separately. So we made the 30 minute drive. When we got there they said they cook in the same oil and nothing was safe from contamination. I left.

Update: we’ve done takeout 2 more times since this, the last time in February I got so incredibly sick. Skip any noodle dishes, they’re supposed to be rice flour but I was the sickest I’ve ever been for 2 solid weeks.
Went on a Wednesday night for my husbands birthday. Thanks to this app and someone at sur la table telling my mother in law this was a safe place for celiacs, I was able to eat at a restaurant for the first time since my diagnosis. I never thought I’d be able to do that again since even the slightest bit of cc causes a reaction. The servers were knowledgeable, each time something was delivered to the table they would say what was safe and not safe. Even though it was busy, they took time to make sure I wasn’t mistakenly trying something. The orange chicken is what I tried and it was great! They use potato starch to coat the chicken. The servers said most of their entrees can be made gluten free. Such a gem and best part, zero reaction. Nice to know I have a safe place to go to.

We tried the Hop Sing Palace because of other reviews and we were not disappointed. The ambience is warm and cozy, the staff are so kind and attentive and they offer a lot of gluten free options. They understand the importance of a “gluten allergy” and I felt very safe eating here. Treat yourself to some safe, gluten free food.

So happy to find a Chinese restaurant that makes GF food! Passed by many times and never went. This is a well established (if you want updated this isn’t for you) restaurant that had been here a long time. It’s quirky and eclectic. We went Tuesday night around 6:30. Busy for a weekday. Huge menu. We asked what was GF and they said to pick things out and they would tell us if it would work on it. We got fried rice, ginger beef, and garlic prawns all GF. They brought GF soy sauce to the table. Yeah! Everything was delicious and prices were great. $40 for 2 entrees, and huge portion of rice and a beer. Hard to beat. We will be back.

Good food, no GF menu but they are aware what can be made to GF! Rare to find Asian cuisine to be GF

Such a cute old style Chinese restaurant. No gf menu but they were very knowledgeable and try to make whatever you like. I’m Celiac and did not get sick. Leftovers were awesome. I will definitely go often. 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento in traffic. No bad.

Excellent food. Helpful wait staff will advise as to what can be made GF. They have rice noodle dishes but orange and sesame beef dishes can be made GF. I had the orange beef and it was great—my daughter and son kept picking off my plate!

Has separate kitchen to prepare Gluten Free versions of many items on their menu, apart from their main kitchen.
Fresh ingredients used. Dishes are made to order. Huge quantities and very inexpensive. We ordered Tomato Beef over rice. Will have enough for at least 2-3 meals. Also had the Egg Drop Soup! Fantastic.
Dinner partner is non Celiac but low carb plan. He had Pork Egg Foo Young. He said it was great and enough for 3 meals.

The walnut shrimp is awesome! There are no appetizers that they can make gluten free but lots of entree choices!
I got Honey Walnut Prawns and Fried Rice with veggies and tofu, all gluten free. $23 for a ton of food! I am GF intolerant, not Celiac, but I had no negative symptoms at all. The food was light, filling, fresh, and delicious.
Very accommodating and knowledgeable. They have a separate gluten free cooking area. Ordered mushroom chicken and they had tamari sauce. Yum!

The staff is very knowledge about gluten free options and will modify anything they can off the menu to accommodate you. They even modified honey prawns with walnuts. Everything is so good and the service is always outstanding. It’s so nice to have safe Chinese food again!
