Gluten free house buns, fries, and burger bowls. Pretty good (but overpriced, IMO)

I have eaten here a few times and I get the classic GF burger with truffle fries. Very good!

Sitting at the restaurant now. After identifying myself as someone with celiac disease, ordering from the gluten free menu and asking them to be extra careful, I got a regular bun. Ok. I figured it out didn’t take a bite and I get that mistakes happen. The remake comes out and I ask if the meat was reused, the answer was yes. I appreciate the honesty but after taking to the manager a little more the only thing they do is change gloves. That’s it. Same condiment bins being used for everything. Shared everything. Very nice guy, but this restaurant is not celiac safe. Period. Shame on you Hopdoddy for cashing in without reasonable measures in place. If you’re sensitive, look elsewhere.

Be sure to tell them you have a gluten allergy when you order!
I was excited to find this place. They have a separate place to cook my meat. I wish the gluten free bun was also dairy free. They do have vegan cheese which is a plus.

They are very knowledgeable and take care in putting your order together. I made sure they knew I had celiac and needed a strict GF meal. I did a bunless burger and sweet potato fries. Very good!

Had been here before early in my Celiac days. Return trip was much better. Only have burgers and fries. They offer a gf bun and handle with care if told at register it’s for an allergy. Best burger by day I’ve had at restaurant since diagnosed. Only fires in frier. Will def be back if ever in Houston again

Great options. Dedicated preparation for those with gluten/grain allergies or sensitivity and dedicated fryers. Decently knowledgeable and attentive staff. No negative reactions. Bread is made in house. GF bread is like an old fashioned made from scratch biscuit. My kids liked it but said it crumbles easily. All enjoyed.

Good Burger and Bun seems homemade! Definitely going back. The fries weren’t to bad either. Dedicated fryer. Yay

Still a great place for a great burger. Asked and found out the Chipotle ketchup was gluten free. Will be back again!
Yes
All the french fries are gluten free. Their gluten free bun is amazing, it's almost like a fluffy English muffin. They are very cautious of cross contamination, they even write a warning on red note, so the kitchen doesn't forget. Really yummy and a great atmosphere.

1/26/19, third visit, need to watch out and exercise some self-control. Great meal with my boys, one of whom has Celiac like me. Had some shakes. They were yummy! Only non obvious gluten items are bacon and blue cheese as far as I know.
1/12/19, second visit just as good as the first!
I just got back from an excellent lunch. They didn't have a GF menu, but I had researched ahead. No bacon and no blue cheese. Maybe no tuna. They seem to have a good system as well with an allergy card filled out that follows the order. Will definitely come again!
So went in and found out all they had was a GF bun and truffle fries. There were no burgers or anything else. A plain, empty bun and truffle fries were all they had. Hahaha, I laughed so hard. Got some fries and watched my friends eat. Not celiac friendly if the only thing you offer at a burger place is a bun. The cashier even asked the manager who just gave her a book and didn't even bother to speak with me. Guess they dont want people's business! Won't be going back, that's for sure!

I enjoyed a good hamburger but the GF bun was a little disappointing. The crust was a little hard and the texture was more like a biscuit. They can make any of their burgers GF giving you plenty of options. I was told they will change gloves and avoid any cross contamination. The shareable fries were great! Much more than my wife and I could eat.

Service was fast and excellent. The gf bun is the best I’ve ever had. Also, the burger was amazing and probably the best I’ve had. Highly recommend with the fries!

My go to restaurant near vandy. Best GF buns I’ve had, great burgers, and as far as I know, all fries are safe. They ask if GF is for allergy or preference and I have always felt 100% safe. Highly recommend.
