Hopdoddy Burger Bar

I've been to Hopdoddy and it was really good. I got my burger on a GF bun, and had no issues with the fries. They have an gluten free menu on their website that was really helpful. I am looking forward to going back

Edited: I've been back three times since I left this review. They do a good job of letting the kitchen know when an allergy is present, and they announce the gluten free item before they drop it off. I've not gotten sick there and their food really good!

They changed gloves for me when I asked. The gf bun was actually good and not dry. And the fryer is a dedicated fryer. Also the food was delicious! I tried their special Thanksgiving burger and fell in love.

I told them when I ordered if my ‘gluten allergy’. Knowable staff!! I had gluten free burger with a homemade gluten free bun and truffle parmesan fries with zero cross contamination reaction. Fries are made in a dedicated fries only drier! Nice casual atmosphere. I will return!

We were so excited to find this place when we moved here, it is so close to our house. My husband who has gluten sensitivity has had a reaction when we’ve gone to eat here. We finally figured out it is because they do not change gloves when handling the regular burger buns and the gluten free burger buns. So disappointing, otherwise the food is yummy and service was always good even when busy.

i really enjoyed going here!! the food was very good, and i was happy to actually have options!! the only thing i would say is that service was quite slow though i did go on a friday night, so take that with a grain of salt.

Owner was extremely rude and their food got me sick twice. I have celiac disease and I wouldn’t trust their kitchen.

I enjoyed a good hamburger but the GF bun was a little disappointing. The crust was a little hard and the texture was more like a biscuit. They can make any of their burgers GF giving you plenty of options. I was told they will change gloves and avoid any cross contamination. The shareable fries were great! Much more than my wife and I could eat.

Service was fast and excellent. The gf bun is the best I’ve ever had. Also, the burger was amazing and probably the best I’ve had. Highly recommend with the fries!

My go to restaurant near vandy. Best GF buns I’ve had, great burgers, and as far as I know, all fries are safe. They ask if GF is for allergy or preference and I have always felt 100% safe. Highly recommend.
