Not a lot of options for celiacs, but they have pre-made, individually packaged brownies that were certified GF. The brownie was really good. I asked about the chocolates and explained that I have celiac. The young woman behind the counter explained to me that all of their items (including things with wheat) are dipped in the same chocolate, so they would not be safe. I appreciated the explanation! I ended up with a hot apple cider and brownie and was very pleased!

I came here for ice cream because the Ice Cream Cafe wasn't open. GF ice creams are not marked, and there wasn't an easily accessible list of any sort that denoted GF. The staff pulled out a large binder that had the ingredients/allergens for every item in the restaurant, and started going through the ice creams to find which ones were marked "contains wheat". I felt kind of bad for all the hassle (though they thankfully weren't busy), so when I selected a flavor I only thought to ask that they used a new spoon to scoop, I didn't ask about opening up a new tub or anything, that's on me.

I was pleasantly surprised to see they had gluten free muffins and asked if they were kept separate and they said yes. I also ordered a gluten filled croissant for my daughter and they put it in the same bag with the pumpkin GF muffin I ordered but the gf muffin was wrapped in plastic and in a small paper bag so that was great. However when I took the muffin out I couldn’t believe how tiny it was and also how tasteless! I did get a roobois chai tea that was great and my daughter loved her chocolate croissant.

All of their sandwiches can be made with gluten free bread, and they prepare them in a separate area. Tried the chocolate torte - we were told it is cut with a separate knife, although it is in the same counter as other desserts. The food was great and I did not have a reaction!
Yes
Very good sandwiches, got the #2 which is mozzarella, roasted red peppers, pesto, and black pepper with gluten free bread, tell the cashier you have a gluten allergy and they will specify that in the register for the cooks. They also have great pastries! Very knowledgeable and careful. Great place to stop while on the bike path.
Yes
The GF pastries are on their own shelf but right under and between all the gluten pastries so cross contamination risk. I mentioned that they should store them on the top shelf but we’ll see if they change. I did try the cinnamon White Lion muffin, not very good. I hope I don’t get sick.. They can do better.
I love that they have White Lion Bakery items, which are not only gluten free, but paleo. Owner is wonderful and will do their best to accommodate you!
I usually get a raspberry lime ricky and those are always yummy. This year I noticed gf treats! I choose the magic bar and that was a delicious treat after a long bike ride. Didn't get sick after.
My heart is broken! Use to go here all the time before my diagnosis! But just found out almost all of their chocolate has a chance of cross-contamination and girl behind counter did not know if some of the syrups for drink were gluten free or not...
